So I hear that in the never ending debate on which is faster, a bored out worked on Honda 330R or a stock, piped banshee with a tired motor, we have a winner! Evidently, the two machines discussed this via a drag race up china wall with the banshee blowing the R (stands for reptile) out of the water by a long way. Guess it's back to the drawing board for the honda riders huh? Maybe the R can challenge a blaster this time? I know some guy on a breeze that's lost it's compression that may want to get in on it also. [Eek!]

C'mon-- I'm a huge Honda fan, but the dunes are not exactly about quad "handling." Sure the Hondas have better suspensions and would whoop the 'shees in an MX race--but the Banshee is the king of the dunes! [Big Grin]

Quad to Quad, a Banshee and a Fourtrax is a good race with close to the same motor size 330cc to 350cc.! now that was a FUN Race! right Shawn (headinjury) [Big Grin]

I usually range between 205-210 [Big Grin]

OK, I was hoping to save my top end till the end of the season but it looks like someone has to uphold the honor of the fourtrax. [Roll Eyes]

I applaud Shawn's (HEADINJURY) valid attempt to show just how great the fourtrax's are.

Since we have all these 250R three wheeler guys popping off about how fast their bikes are, how about I do you one better and run my bike instead of my banshee? It's only a four stroke and it's stock except for the pipe. Your modded wheelers shouldn't have a problem beating it unless I get a huge holeshot or something. [Big Grin]

WOR, you really need to send that thing up here to get ported. I know a guy who will do it right. and any other 250-370R and banshees. Has anyone ever radared their bike up olds? My friend has a 250r with a 350ct kit and a dune port. He went 53 up olds thanksgiving weekend. Is that as fast as your guys or have you never tested it out?

53 is pretty decent. I have radar tested some fast quads. Most hill-shooter quads (not dune quads) can run 60mph or more. If you get over 70mph that is really fast. Over 80mph is the few VERY VERY FAST bikes. Fastest I have seen was 91mph, but that was a turbocharged street bike engine powering the quad. My buggy with a turbo VW engine has run 64mph up Olds.
