Totally agree! It's not a complex law and it's easy to prove when someone violates it. The process could be made so simple that any illegal aliens taken into custody could be sent back within a day or two....not months like it is now.

But this will appease so many left wing liberal groups, not just families of illegals themselves, that a vote against Obama is not even fathonable for them.

Pathetic and sickening

Rediculous!

to bad that we don't have any board members that could start some creative enforcement, that could take illegals into custody, that would employ said illegals, that could strengthen unions by forcing said illegals to pay dues but would only receive normal wages and thus keep the non-union supporters happy and the board member (if he had any authority...like a badge, gun, baton and authority to take human life) could force his said illegals / employees/union-non-union members/ prisoners to spend all their monies in the USA and not allow any monies to be sent out of country. Oh (wailing) if only we had such a board member.....oh 2xpoopy

Keep it down over there! Can't you see there is a hate thread going here. Keep your facts, or any inference thereof, to yourself. It's obvious no administration existed before this one, and any and all actions taken by current administration are contrary to the wishes of the majority of citizens (don't you dare bring up the other half of the country). The peanut gallery, of which you are obviously a card-carrying member of, is singularly responsible for the woes of this, the greatest nation of earth. Please apologize to us, real Americans who have dutifully assigned blame to anybody, or thing, but ourselves.

Every comment on that article says "as long as they aren't posing a threat" or "only for repeat offenders" or "we have limited resources and need to focus on the repeat offenders"......whatever, how bout they get deported simply because they are in violation of the law, how bout that one?

The only administration responsible for this policy change is the Obama administration. This has nothing to do with any other President, even Dems. This is solely for the purpose of building his constituency, and that should be scary to anyone.

Yep, I remember him giving a speech saying "why are we worried about some maids and gardeners coming across the border looking to do the jobs Americans won't do", oh wait, that wasn't Obama...

I see what you mean:

But Obama is an a-hole. He had to spend a bunch of our tax $$ to do it...

You see, because us conservative Americans don't want any more money spent, and they can only deport so many people based on their operating budget, they seem to have decided to focus on deporting those in yale before deporting those trying to get into Yale.

Rushjunkie,

Your facts and logical soloutions to an issue oblitierating this country have no place here.

This is a "Mass-Deport-Them-All-Are-Criminals" thread. Get with the Program or get on the Train.

Two of the friendliest regimes to illegal immigration, Regan & Bush. (McCain would have eclipsed both) I have never seen Republicans work so hard to give citizenship to future Democrats as I have in the last ten years. Thinking this is an Obama problem shows we as citizens should probably not be involved in the process of electing our representatives.

It's cheaper to deport them sooner than to hold them for months then deport them later.

Every day they are held costs quite a bit.

The funny thing is that in many instances we detained illegal aliens then released them with a court date and "a promise to appear." This "catch and release" process is a freaking joke, what BP person would bust their azz or go out of their way to apprehend someone? I wouldn't blame an officer if he / she opened the van and anyone who didn't jump in was free to go.

The same goes for murders that are on death row/lifers with no chance of parole
