I am looking for a gen for tailgating.. Do you think at the 1000 watt could power a 32 inch LCD tv and a blender or should I go with the 2000 watt? I like the idea of the smaller size and weight of the 1000..

If the price difference aint much i would opt for a 2000.

Now if i got a really good deal on a 1000 i would pick it up just to use to recharge batts in camper or toyhauler for trips i dont need to run bigger draw appliances.

The 1000 watt gen should do it if you have a cheap household blender. it would be about maxed out though. I would opt for the 2000 then you can use a coffee maker and hair drier.

Most kitchen-style blenders are at least 600 watts, and they peak higher when started up.
You're looking at 100 - 200 watts for a 32-inch TV.

An EU1000 gennie is 1000 watts peak, 900 watts continuous.
You need to look at the current draw for the blender and TV you're gonna use.
But for the "average" 32-inch TV and blender, I'd get the 2000W gennie...

A 1000W genie is cutting it close, regardless.
