Some Ahole stole the 6v off the front of my trailer in my drive way. They took every battery from every RV around our house. The cop who took the report said she had done nothing but write reports all day. I have no idea how to keep them from being stolen. I will just keep them in the garage for now.

was looking at those also but like the box idea also. Wasn't wanting to dump another $100 just to secure it, just looking to see if there's any redneck fab anyone has done. A few trailers got hit where I park it and apparently this has happened before. I wanted to upgrade to 6 volt anyways but they also decided to just cut my power and ground just a bit to short so now I have to re run some 4 guage.

If you've got tie downs like this:

You could always weld a large washer to a nut on one side, then drill a hole through it and the tie down bar and stick a lock through it. Not going to really stop them, but at least they'll need more tools and might just move on.

Spent $52.00, Free Shipping, best thing that I've found so far for the money and they wrap around the angle iron the battery boxes sit on. Wish I'd invented them, great product to protect your batteries from some asshat from stealing them...

just my .02 cents

seems like a decent deal so those wrap around the 6volt battery boxes with the lids on?

They do on a 12-volt box!

didn't quite fit with the 6volt and battery tray lids I got so just had to cut the center out of the lid a bit. Worked great though!

Glad to see that extra security is helping the neighborhood. Sucks that such a small community has such high crime.

this is what it did

i took 1.5x.5 bar stock over the boxes then bolted them down and put locks on them...

no problems yet.

I was looking for the same thing. My batteries got swiped in the middle of the day from in front of my house.

I bought sealed gels and put them in the trailer
