Have a friend looking to buy a new Honda 450r. Suggested retail price on that bike is $6499, he realizes that they are the NEW HOT bike so expected to pay a little over that. What he has found so far was the dealers are marking them up to close to $8900.
Has anyone bought one ,gotten a deal, or know of a reputable dealer that wont bend a guy over for wanting a new quad? Any help would be appreciated.

Is that $8,900 out the door or is it before all the fees and taxes?

That is rediculas. I paid that at Alba for my YFZ last year when they first came out. That was the price out the door though and with all there goodies.

motorworld had or still has like 2 04's left in stock had them on sale for $5600 before everything. it might be off sale now or gone. my dad almost bought one but he decided not to.

Just picked it up last weekend..

ok ok i not have final information on a price. my dad just picked one up today (sat. july 31) for $6500 out the door.

got it from motorworld of el cajon. the bike is nothing special...all stock no extra goodies included. and he didnt get the extended warrnty so that save an extra $600 too.

however i believe the sale ends today too and they go back up on price.
