The SIRI voice recognition and intelligence feature is pretty incredible. From the people I know who used it during beta testing, say it works very well.
That will make me get a 4S knowing a 5 is less than a year away.

im on the fence about it. my current iphone is the 3g (not even a 3gs)

so this would be a huge improvement for me in the areas that my current phone pisses me off. if i knew the 5 was coming out in say 3 months i will wait till then, but more than likely ill either find a used iphone 4 in the mean time and wait for the 5, or just get the dam 4s.

I'll be getting it in a month or so

Will sell my jailbroke 4G eventually.

Same here. I'm not going to shell out the amount of money they are going to be asking for. I'll just pick up an iPhone 4 somewhere to replace my iPhone 3g. My phone is really slow now with the most recent updates.

slow is right! since the 4 will be available now for dirt cheap new that should kill the used prices down to reasonable levels so i can pick one up for now and get by with it.

Seriously. Apple is a cult. When people are counting down the minutes and willing to stand in line, for a phone, thats a cult. Just like Jobs wanted it!. From what I hear, the big party went not so well without the new Iphone 5 being introduced. Stock tumbled over 6%. If you business relies on the release of a phone to survive, its only a matter of time, and if Jobs passes away anytime soon, forget about it. Apple sucked when he was fired last time, they are on the fast track to sucking again.
Enjoy the phone though!

It's also going to be carried by Sprint and another carrier now as well..
With unlimited data at Sprint, iphone users are going to suck the bandwidth dry..

Sprint signed a contract for 30 million iphones... They don't have that many customers...

i was gonna dump the droid and grab a 4. But the low light improvements to the camera are well worth the extra cash for the 4s....Im a buyer

I'll wait for the 5. I still have a 3gs. I'm up for a renewal in May. I'll see how close the 5 is then. I don't use half the stuff on the phone I have, so I can't justify the expense.

i read on one site where sprint has been quietly changing things with unlimited data for the new iphone. same thing happened with verizon after they got the iphone, no more unlimited data plans.

Man, you're psychic! He died today.
I agree with you, it's like a cult. They go crazy every year when another sub par phone gets introduced. I can't wait till the Iphone 7 comes out, and somebody notices it's almost as good as the first Android phone.

That's going to suck for all of the new customers.
