Other than distributors like Honda, Yamaha, etc, where do you buy your accessories from? Who has the best deals on parts, boots, helmets and the like?
SANDFANATIC
I get all my apperal at San Diego Sport Cycles.
Lucky
These guys have nice prices on riding gear.

Yamiboy
in San Diego i usually go to cycle parts west.

they had my throttle cable when everyone else said they needed to have it ordered and it was even $4 cheaper. (for my banshee)

bought my baja tank for the shee and it was somethng like $45 cheaper than everyone else and i priced alot of areas too.

its a small place but they are pretty reasonable on parts prices. as far a gear well all i wear is boots, helmet, gloves , and gogles. everything else is just normal clothes and short.
SHOCKER
Im going to start getting my gear at cyle gear they have some good deals, but for parts for my bike i go to alba icon_smile.gif

Ditto

It pays to call around, otherwise I go to Santee Motorcycles for the basics. Cycle Parts West is good when they have sales. For paddles, California Motorsport Center has some good deals.

overall the best deals I find are at www.rockymountainatv.com..that is, unless someone is having a sell...Chapparal in San Bernardino has awesome parking lot sales....
Sand-Wedgie
Yeah, I like Chapparal but I have never left there without spending at least $300. It sucks when you only went there to get a $15.00 part and end up having to get a shopping cart. blink.gif

I do everything through mail/internet order. I’ve spent a lot of money over that past couple years at these:
RockyMountain
Dennis Kirk
JL ATV (James Lucky)
The Quad Shop
Service Honda

Like said previously, it’s who has it and at the cheapest.
TOAD
they have great deals at the SSSS

Mountain Motor Sports has good prices on parts. They send a lot of coupons in the mail to their existing clientel, usually 25% of already low prices.

thanks ladies & dudes .... icon_biggrin.gif

I usually avoid Chaparral’s mail order department because of horrible customer service and I have to pay sales tax and shipping where as the others is just shipping. It’s been a while since I ordered from them so maybe they’ve gotten their act together since then.

If you want to avoid The People’s Republic of California sales tax, order from out of state! On a full set of gear at $1000 that’s an $80 savings.

If you want gear..just wait for the sand sports supershow, cycleparts, berts, etc all have booths there and it's hard to beat there show prices, got both of my sons socks and jerseys there for 7.00, Got my Xlarge gear bag for 30.00.. they may be discontinued or last years gear but who cares..they just get thrashed anyway. as far as bike/quad parts I never pay retail icon_wink.gif
