I decided before I sell my bike I'll clean her up.. I'm going to be replacing all the swing arm bushings/bearings, and the a-arm balljoints and bushings, and have my frame, a-arms, and swingarm powder coated (maybe my steering stem, rear brake caliper, hubs.

my question is what colors?? I want to keep my stock plastics, its white plastics with blue seat/tank/hood. Red frame is off-limits.. i dont like the look, but I was wondering what would be a good color combo for my frame, then a-arms/swingarm, I don't think I want to chrome, already have a-arms and swingarm done in chrome but i want more color.

More then likely the guy who buy's it will want to paint it so which ever color you choose would be wrong. But if you just can't wait to make the new prospective owners think the frame might be all welded up ,paint it the stock colors.
SHOCKER
Since ya already got a variety of blue with white plastics go with a blue frame icon_smile.gif

a heavy metallic silver would look cool, wouldnt stand out too much, either that or a blue.

i agree witht that, i was thinking a charcoal color.

if you do something with a metalic look youll get a winner!
SHOCKER
Or silver-vein, i got that with my a-arms because anyother color costs more, and i actually like it, i think a blue would look good, or maybe translucent blue icon_smile.gif with silver flakes

Im not powder coating the frame to hide 'welds' or 'cracks' but because the paint is wearing around the foot pegs, etc, and I want a clean frame, the a-arms/swingarm is chipping chrome too so yeah.

I was thinking since the white and blue plastics, I should go for a candy apple blue or metallic metal flake blue, but im still not sure about the a-arms or swingarm, could go with like a deep silver or even silver vein to balance the colors a little.

And Who the hell in the right mind would PAINT over a powdercoat after they bought the bike?? Btw, Doesnt seem like any one wants to buy it right now so wtf does it matter that I change the colors? if I had red middles I would have the frame powdercoated stock honda red but since i don't its a harder choice. oh well.. icon_biggrin.gif
SHOCKER
LOL um the silver-vein would look good on the arms, and i think ya got the frame pretty much figured out icon_smile.gif have ya seen translucent blue? thats what i want to do to my frame, but i have no money icon_sad.gif oh and let us know how much it costs to get the frame powder coated icon_smile.gif if ya dont mind
