awesome.. You are going to love it.. I have been to 6 Pride fights. The Japanese love fighters. They are very respectful. The arenas are huge.. Where is the fight at in Japan?

Sounds like fun. I used to go to Japan quite a bit for work and one time sat by Dan Henderson and one of his trainers when he was the pride champion. Super nice guy, not overly intimidating looking in person but kind of crazy to think of the knockout power and submission skills he has while I was chatting with him. I wish I could've gone to one of the Pride fights while I was back there, they always seemed cool.

On another flight I sat by some of the WWE wrestlers that were headed over for a show. Didn't have a clue who they were until I dug around the Internet when I got there. One of the guys was "The Big Show" or something like that. Holy crap that dude was huge! Made a first class seat look tiny. Also rubbed both sides of the aisles as he went down them!

Looks Zuffa put a sbmission hold on that account . I have a good buddy of mine that works for Zuffa as an events coordinator Gary. I went to college with kirk and Greg. Japan should be good times. When between shows and events hang with them when I can. You konw Randy has a sand rail too.

Lucky for UFC, Japanese don't really boo. UFC fights suck. Japs are gonna be very unimpressed with the "fight just enough to not lose" tactics.
Gave up on UFC about 2 years ago. Peek in to see what i've missed occasionally. Nothin!

agreed... you are probably 80%-90% correct on that... meaning 1 to 2 out of 10 fighters fight to actually hurt the guy and win the fight. the rest fight with their strategy to not lose...

The Japanese are more into the heart of the fighter and is he a real warrior vs can be play the game enough to win..
