could you imagine if it was like pismo? that would be terrible. i only plan 3-4 trips all season. the others all are spontaneous. you never know when the itch to dune is gonna set in. when it does im known to be gone in a matter of hours. lol

Most will never occur but kudos to the folks coming up with ways to make it a better place and spending their free time / effort to put some good suggestions out there.

This list was the result of a brainstorming session where all ideas were recorded, even those that we may know would likely not be implemented.

At a future meeting we will try and reduce this list to those items that could be implemented and see if a priority plan can be worked out.

As usual these meetings are open to the public and everyone gets to participate in the discussions. The next meeting will be sometime in February.

There currently are openings for new members for this ISDRA DAC sub group. The information on applying for the sub group can be found HERE

totally against the reservation system. It sucks every where its implemented. nothing like being told the place is full, when you can see empty campsites.
People reserve, "just in case" and never show up.

I did like an idea, that I don't see on there.
Get rid of the annual pass. 14 day pass max.

Free beer stand, strip club w/ free beer stand, free gas, free firewood... sorry thought we were listing for Santa. Make it wilderness again - no amenities, no fees!
Free Agent
Get rid of the Ice Cream trucks on Gecko passing every 5 minutes, and no reservation system.
More pads for sure.
