not this year but last summer my '03 raptor got a pipe, filter, jets, chrome a-arms, front shocks, new rims and tires all around, rear chrome axel, +4 chrome swingarm, chain, trail tech lights and dash computer and a few other things, I think it ended up to be around $4000.

I refuse to add up receipts for my bike. I don't have any heart problems or grey hair and that's the way I like it.

during practice they had changed the 40' double to a 50' table and the landing sucks, but i kased it with my back wheels and it went from there, i landed on my left shoulder rolled over a few times then jumped up and rolled my bike over, it sucks, i really really wanted to race, i felt good to becasue i just got some 18" klaws for the rear and they helped alot, i was only 2 1/2 laps into practice, i felt good about today i know i was going to do good

so far i am over $500, which is powder and most of the parts. still need some seals for the motor, my radiator bent back to straight, my pipe un-dinged, or a new one, and plastics. all told, it'll be close to $1k before season starts. im a bargain shopper.
plus i still have to buy new riding pants(th 34's arent fitting anymore), just bought a new helmet(a $179 kbc ikon) for $50 shipped.

Since President's Day, when our season started winding down a little too early...
Sarah's 400EX has gotten a full plastic set, new rear wheels and paddles, a new Trail Tech light system, Tag bars, grips, chain, and she's one season deep into a new top and bottom end (don't ask why an '01 needed that so soon, it's not a purty story).
I'm in the process as we speak of a new top end, frame powdercoat, new clutch and cable, Toomey 1-into-2 throttle kit, chain, IMS desert tank, a-arms, coils and shocks all around...do the math on the $$$ if you want, just please don't tell me!

after years of owning used crap and a tent...in the last year I have dumped about 50K into my crap..new trailer, 3 new quads...kfx700, ds650, frtrx 250....all 04 models...and dang happy about it...its not what ya spend..its what ya can afford...I did it without using credit cards...that is what I am proudest to myself about....when I was a kid I used to trick out my bikes..now a days..I leave em bone stock...just add things that I want that they did not come with..like paddles, cooler rack, gps mount, ect....I always lost my arsk on resale and seemed to me like the reliability went away.....but I sure can appreciate a decked out bike...just not for me these days....
Just spent about $3500!!!!! Got Chrome A-arms, Elka Shocks, Beadlocks front/back, new paddles/razors, Tag Bars, Fullbore Plastics, Cascade seat... I think that is it until the SSSS in Sept. Gonna get 4 lazer lights then. I will have before and after pics as soon as the arms are here ( hopefully this week )
