Public Meetings Scheduled for Eastern San Diego County Resource
Management Plan

The Bureau of Land Management has scheduled two scoping meetings to
gather public comments regarding preparation of the Eastern San Diego
County Resource Management Plan. The meetings will be held at the
following dates, times and locations:

September 8, 2004
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Hearing room
Imperial County Board of Supervisors
940 West Main Street
El Centro, CA

September 9, 2004
6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Hilton San Diego Mission Valley
901 Camino del Rio, South
San Diego, CA

BLM will accept written and electronic comments on the scope of the RMP
until October 12, 2004, electronic comments received by October 12,
2004, and written comments postmarked by October 12, 2004 and received
by October 22, 2004.

You may submit comments by the following methods: written, Lynette
Elser, Eastern San Diego County Resource Management Plan and EIS, 1661
