Ok i flushed my radiator and my manual says to add 1200 ML of coolant to my radiator, i have only added 1050 ML and its full, the overflow tank which i filled is about 1/2 ful from the low to high mark, i actually baught some engine ice so i didnt need to mix with water or anything because it came pre-mixed and ready to use, ok but is there any tricks i need to know about filling the radiator? and is it ok that i filled it with 1050ml because so far thats all it would hold?


and i also drained the oil and and stuff, and i put it in a clean container so i could use it for a 2 more rides until i take my bike in to alba for its free maintence, so after i drained and after i got the bike back together i filled the oil back into the oil tank, is this right? i then cranked the engine over so it would mix the oil in then started it, then i let it cool down and then checked the level and it was good, anything else?

did you check your coolant level after you started the quad?

Once the bike heats up kicking open the thermostat - you will then be able to add the rest of the coolant.

As for using oil like that.. Thats fine if it works for you - but oil is cheap.. I would never re-use any oil..

I run what the book says to run in it. Change it about every 10 hrs of riding..

Hey, many of my bikes run on Ford's automatic tranny fluid. Banshe and 400 ex. Dont look for anything fancy on the bottle. Just buy the cheap shtuff. More along the lines of ATF. <---- works like a charm and wil not, NOT break down.
