I read someware that the shocks could be rebuilt to be shorter. When I built my car I made a bad dicision on my shock lenght.

I have looked at selling them but they are an unusual size and air shocks. Just wondering if they can be shortened as they bump out early. I canot use the whole lenght of the travel and don't want to rebuild the tower if I dont have to and, still can't use all the travel if I do. I do love the way they work and have had no problems with them other than not chosing the correct travel. They would need to be shortend about 4 inches of travel from 16" to 12".
Thanks J

Just called Fox and they could rebuild them with new bodies and shafts. I wonder if I could just buy the bodies and shafts and do them myself? Didn't think to ask that question.

you can rum limit straps. The only thing is you will loose a lot of trvel due to the shock bottoming out so early due to it's longer length body. I say you buy the right ones.

I wonder if that would be cheaper than buying new ones and selling the old ones?

I do run limit starps and bumpstops but not ideal for the car. Should have just made a better choice in the begining. Total NOB mistake!!!

Is the droop or bump to much? I know they sell internal spacers to limit travel on the stroke but the body will still be the same overall length.

I can get both bodies and shafts for 300 dollars shipped. I'm sure I can handle the swap out of parts. The shocks new are 400 each new. This seems like it is worth the effort to change them out.
