I definately need some practice with the car, I just checked the weather and its only supposed to be 95 out there this weekend, I would be all over that, but the car is in Phoenix.

Oh well, maybe we will get some cold fronts moving through the desert.

Morning everyone, Wes I am down for a trip when you are ready. After all I was out there when it was 122* so I am sure I can survive any weekend. It was really only bad from noonish to 6, it wasnt so much the heat but the sun blazing down. I havent driven at night in a car for a few years, but I am game. I just dont want to get stuck again.

Hey SandTrap I saw in the other thread you are getting a light bar on your rail. Did you go with HID's or regular.

good choice on the light bar, I have driven very little at night, but I am glad I got the extra lights.

HID's on the light bar and it is also a roof rack

Nice I am getting the light bar roof rack also, but its gonna just have Halogen probably. Then can swap out to HID's later if they aren't enough. Just can't seem to buy $1,500 worth of lights before seeing if $300 is going to be enough light for me. It will have 4 LaserStar types down low and 4 up top on the rack.

Changed mine to a Turnkey Today so it should be done the end of August.I was going to build it myself but my inpatience got the best of me.

I am soooooooo glad I got a turn key this time, I built my last car from the ground up, started with a bare frame and 4 days later I was driving it around the block, and yes the wires did get run inside the frame.

Now when there is a problem I have someone to blame and Justin is so good about taking care of things it is awesome. I definately think it is money well spent. especially when he comes out to the desert and tunes your shocks while in the dunes. Thats service!!!

Well I am sure my builder will be there to tune my shocks, since he is my duning buddy. Now that makes for great service.
