have a great night all. My buddy and I finished the kitchen cab install, trim and roughtops for them, tomorrow I am starting the 18X18" tile (609 sq. ft.) and my buddy is starting a shower stall replacement. Tile walls/fiberglass pan being replaced with fiberglass pan and 3 piece fiberglass walls. Aaron it is pretty much just the shower version of what I talked about for your place, quick, fairly inexpensive and pretty easy.

I would love to see the pics of what he did.

^^^Of the shower? I have before pics now, demo is happening today, and he should get the pan, valve, and a couple of the walls in, then tomorrow, finish the walls and repair the drywall around the unit. In the meantime I will be all about tile.

It's effin HOT!!! it was 80 at my house by 9 this morning.......sposed to get to 100 again today! but in a few days it will only be 73!!!! then back up to 95 about 4 days after that! I want winter already!

Got a couple pics for ya. Here are a few before and after shots, when I get coleyconstruction.com up and running, there will be alot more of the stuff I do. We got all the tiles down through the downstairs of the house, just didnt take any pics yet, Just need to be grouted and a couple other misc things, and its all done. My buddy and I did all this in 5 days.

Install upper/lower kit cabinets with island, move water line 1' for icemaker/repair drywall. Add 7' gas pipe for stove, install elec outlet in island cabinet, install rough tops for granite
Remove tile shower, install fiberglass shower unit with new valve, repair drywall
Install 609 sq. ft. tile.

Well all I can say is that last night I was at the worst bachelor party EVER! Hope you moofs had a good night.

Howdy gang, hope you had a decent weekend. yesterday was fun at Dans, today I went fishin with my buddy and on the way home, saw 2 motorcycle guys on opposite sides of the road, got about 1/2 a mile past them, and something just didnt seem "right" so I swung back around, gave them the thumbs up as I drove by, and the guy shook his head, so I turned around, pretty much blocked traffic behind them, then saw a bike down in a ditch and a guy face down wraped in a tree, dude was still coherent, which was a bonus, so I got ahold of 911, I then ran a couple hundred yards up the road to do a bit of traffic controll, the sheriffs rolled up within a couple minutes, and thought all was well. When they got the guy up and on a stretcher I noticed they were doing CPR, apparently the guy was all twisted around the tree and it kept things in place, but when they moved him he crashed. They got him somewhat stabilized and lifeflight came and picked him up. I stayed on scene until the road got opened back up and talked to the sheriffs, etc. I felt somewhat helpful. I took some pics of the bike, but wifey thinks they may be a bit morbid to post in case the guy didnt make it. From the report of the paramedics after he got on the copter, he didnt sound too hopeful. I can post the pics if you like, but didnt want to blind side you with them. There is no blood or anything, the rider and bike became seperated and hit seperate trees. I did hear one sheriff say to the other one the bike slid 185' on the asphault before leaving the road.

Here are a couple pics of the bike on the tow truck....like I said before, it slid about 185' on the asphault, then flew about 15' off the road, and hit a tree while in mid air. Can you figure out what part of the bike hit the tree?

Wow what an exhausting day. We had to take Talia to the hospital for a MRI on her kidney that is giving us some issues. When Erica called the lady she talked to said it would take about an hour or so total so not bad. Well we get there and the lady tells us it will take abut three hours to do the MRI and that the person we talked to was probably looking at next weeks test. So they start on Talia and she needs an IV for fluids for this test so she tries to give her one and it wont work. Talia is screaming bloody murder and erica is crying because talia is crying. So we have to go to the childrens section and the nurses there try again and cant get the IV in. So talia is pretty pissed now and is letting us know every bit of it. Finally they bring in a specialist for babies who used a sononagraph to get the IV in. After that they had to put in the cathader(sp) and she screamed bloody murder one more time. Well after that it wasnt too bad, she fell asleep and stayed asleep for the hour and half they ran the MRI on her. It was pretty damn tiring and I probably wont here anything for two weeks.

Awwww, how sad!!! So sorry little Talia had to go through all that today (and you and Mommy too)! I hope the tests are helpful in figuring out what is wrong andhow to help make it all better!

No we had an audit today. It was painful to say the least but we passed so I wont see the nice auditor for about 6 months. Well on the good new side it looks like we are just about ready for the dune season. Im not sure when our first trip will be but I am ready for some sand.
