Well I hope your job is profitable. I think I am pretty much out of stuff to do around the house for an entire two weeks. Then we are starting on the patio. It will be 33ft wide by 8ft off the house. Should be a fun little project.

Aaron, remember that little shotgun I saw when we went to Bass Pro that one day when I was out there, Been looking everywhere for one out here, nobody has it let alone ever heard of it, went into this hole in the wall gun store here in Ramona, dude had 2 models sitting there, so after thinking about it for a second, decided to pull the trigger and buy it. Cant wait to pick it up on the 20th.

Yeah it was a good weekend. I took a long one hoping to get out to the sand but things didnt pan out again. Looks like this will be the first time in 5 years I wont get out to the sandbox. But next year will be better! Good deal on finding that little shotgun Ian. I have a feeling it might come in handy around the farm.

Morning everyone....The moon was fun, Friday night was really windy, but it calmed down on Sat. we drove about 72 miles on Saturday and I am glad to say the Manx ran flawlessly. I had a few things break, but it just random stuff. (Flagpole, whip and mount when I took it off to load up, batteries died in the trailer, ran over a stack of levelers and broke them all, and some other small thing). Sunday was SUPER windy so we never went outside except to pack up and leave. It sure was nice only being 1.5 hours away from home.

I just got back from meeting wifey in town for dinner, since I had so much fun driving the manx in the desert last weekend, I decided to take that. Its not quite manx weather at night yet, about 15 miles from home my fingers were completely numb, I didnt think to bring gloves, I just had a thin flannel jacket on and thats it. I need to throw an "idiot bag" in the manx, contents being a pair of gloves, beanie and sweatshirt of some sort. Manx ran pretty well on the street, but the carbs definately need some love and I am sure a tune up would help it out some too.

good afternoon guys, FINALLY finished my trailer project. never knew building a tailgate from scratch was such a huge task. Not only did I build the tailgate, I got one of those multi function LED light bars and fabbed that into it as well, then did the wiring for that, and added a license plate light, 2 side marker lights, replace the flat 4 to a round 7 plug, replaced the front marker lights and rear tail lights. Also replaced the plug on the bumper of the truck and ran a reverse wire and 12V from the battery into it for the trailer. Then painted everything that I welded. THEN, installed a pipe holder on one side and installed 6 tie down points. So I guess I did do a fair amount of work. I think running the wires in the tailgate of the trailer and the 12V wire from the battery to the plug on the bumper of the truck was the hardest

I went through 25 gallons of poison oak killer yesterday and didnt come close to getting it all sprayed. started close to the house then high traffic areas in the fields, then went from there. Dont know how to get rid of it.

Happy monday moofs. So what the one thing everyone wants to do on their week off of work. I know, drain, acid wash and epoxy coat their pools! I did the acid wash yesterday and that was some kind of fun. Took my about 6 hours to do the TSP wash, acid and then redo the TSP. Lots and lots of dirt and gunk came out, and I thought I keep my pool clean. Today I did the primer coat, I swear if the epoxy looks half as good as the primer I am going to be stoked, it really looks that good.

That sounds like way too much fun. I spent about 10 hours in the yard on Sat, took down about 200 yards of fencing, all the posts, then did some serious weed wackin/clean up. made 2 small fields into one big one.

Sunday wifey and I went and got new office chairs.

Today was work, tommorow and Wed will be study days. Thursday is a huge day for me, testing to get my Plumbing contractors license, its a huge deal to me, hopefully it will open another door. At the moment I think I can do more with the plumbing license over the general. Service and Repair plumbing can really be a good thing.

good luck on the contractors exam Ian, you will knock it out of the park. The epoxy went good untill I realized one of my jets was slowly dripping water. Kind of made a little pool where the epoxy became kind of misshaped but got that fixed and now all is good. Need to let it cure for three days and then filler up! Hope everyone has a great week.
