Getting ready for a first birthday party! Cant believe its already been a year, god where has time gone.
On a happy note I have started to prep the trailer for the season. I filled the gas tanks and have been trying to charge the batteries for a test run, hoping to fire the genny tomorrow and run a couple gallons through it to make sure all is well. Overall it stored amazingly well for 18 months and looks great inside. We will be making at least two trips this year if not more, new job will kind of dictate what I will have for time off.

Our trailer is getting used right now. I do need to replace the batteries and the anode rod in the water heater though, I am finally fixing the electrical that burnt up in the fires on the pad. was digging today and accidentally put the pick though the sewer line in one spot and the electrical conduit line in another.

Her birthday is the 17th, I guess July is a good month for the B-day peeps. Damn Ian you and that pick axe are dangerous :P
Greeting Friends! Can you believe Ian and I will have been married for 10 freaking years come this August 21st? As usual we are inviting all of our family and friends to come help us celebrate. All the usual stuff, camping, bbq, spa, wash shoes and our freaking fantastic bartender Brandi will be there.
The cookout will be Saturday afternoon. It is potluck style, so bring your favorite dish to share. We will provide drinks, tons of food and paper/plastic products. Ian will be cooking up some delicious meat on his BBQ. Anyone else who wants to throw their hat into the BBQ ring is welcome too. Biscuits and gravy will be on the menu for breakfast Sunday for overnighters.
Camping, you all know the deal, but in case you forgot:
As some of you know, Ian and I live in a rural area outside of San Diego. We have a little over 50 acres of land nestled on the border of the Cleveland National Forest. Since we have been so blessed with all of this space, we invite all of you to bring your RV's (no hookups) or tents to spend the weekend enjoying it with us. Golf Carts, UTV's and small ATV's are welcome as long as they aren't too loud and have spark arrestors. It has been a very dry year so no camp fires are permitted. However, we have a lovely deck in the trees with a large spa, gas firepit and bar for all to enjoy. .

Aaron I know what you mean, I did a job in Indo a few weeks back, average temp out there was over 103 or so, I had the A/C in the trailer on hi for 10 days straight and the coldest the trailer got was 85, but thats better than 100+. A couple of years ago, James and I met Justin and 2 engineers from Sony out in Gordons in May, outside temp was 122 and inside the trailer was 105 w/ the A/C on, but that 105 sure did feel good compared to outside, driving the cars in that heat was just crazy, cars were overheating by the time we got from the flats to test when we were going through the dunes.

Damn I cant believe its going to be august already. Three short months untill we should be out in the sand.
Yup, fired up the car the other day, after I had it sitting on a battery charger for a couple days, gonna get it out of the trailer and give it the once over soon, still havent hit the track on the quad yet.
Gonna probably do some night catfish fishin tonight so we have dinner for tomorrow, got a couple last weekend and they were pretty tasty
