Not sure Ian is going to be on today, but I will say hi for him. We are supposed to be getting our satellite internet hooked up tomorrow. We finally have TV again, though I am not sure I am happy about it, they sure do make a lot of noise, I was getting so used to the quiet. Oh well, gotta be able to check the weather in G I guess. Hope you both are doing well.
We are and can't wait to see the new place

I have no beef with Justin, he is more frustrated than I am, he is actually loosing money on my car now and wants it out of his hair more than I do, but he has to deal with my frustrations and pass it along to the people causing them.

good morning to all, hopefully I will be able to see you all out there soon, I am not going out to the desert until my car is ready, just too many things going on at home, I have finally realized that I will have the car for a long time, and since I have pretty much all but written this season off, I am going out twice as many times next season, but I will be out there Presidents day for sure, and hopefully a few times after that. cheers to all.
Morning Ian...
I hoppe you get the car soon babe

Ian,
If nothing else we will see you out on President's weekend! Definately going out that weekend as I just got back from the first shakedown run on the new buggy at Glamis and love the new buggy.

I don't know if I can ever get back on my Banshee again. Next trip will be President's @ Gordon's since my F-250 CC is at the Ford dealer with a bad transmission. Time for a bigger truck!

I see Ian hasn't been checking in lately, so I will update you all. He is pretty upset, the last painter turned out to be a complete loser too, so we have to start all over with another one, which will take another 6 weeks

We won't have the car for Presidents weekend, but we are still going out since Ian's friends are getting married

I've been following this thread for awhile, man Ian your having some bad luck with your car.Ever think of just bringing the car home and just finish it yourself. It would probly go faster.Try a painter that is local. Why is your paint job going to take 6 weeks?Hopefully you will get your car soon.

bd, that thought has crossed my mind, but I have no idea where to take it here, and since the paint is in the final price, I didnt want to mess with it, also I am getting the interior done, and the clear vinyl applied after paint, so I would have to find someone out here to do that as well, and since I live at 2 hours from town it would be more of a pain than anything else, I have complete faith in the painter now, Deano's customs is painting it, he does most of Roger Borgets custom bikes and his work is impressive, Justin was going to recommend him first but he is more expensive, I would have saved money by going with him first cuz I have spent more than the difference in paint cost on asprin dealing with this headache. My graphics are very custom, its not lines and stripes, its an airbrushed mural so it is pretty involved, and the last painter was way off base from what I told him I wanted, so the panels he did actually paint have to be stripped and redone, hence the long delay. but if and when I ever get the car, I will plaster so many pics of it, you will know what I am talking about.

Can't wait to see your car when it's finally done. I will be building a car soon and I also go to Butter Cup, so maybe we can hook up and go for a ride next season.I just moved out to Ramona.Well glad to hear everythings on track now.I was thinking of using a vinyl wrap on my car. There is a company named Ape Wrap in coronado.Have you heard any good things about them? Thanks Scott

bd, What part of Ramona? we just moved out of the country estates and now live up in Mesa Grande. that would be great to hook up for a run, I have seen some a couple cars from Ape Wraps and they look pretty nice, might be a good way to go.
