back in the day I had a lab/irish setter mutt, she looked like a fat black irish setter, I got her shaved and I couldnt believe it was my dog, I almost got into an argument with the people at the shop, I thought they were trying to give me someone elses dog.

Yup, I was actually feeling so useless about not doing anything outside, so around 2 I bundled up and cut as much grass until dark, I was fricken freezing by 7:30, and got lightly rained on twice, but I got about 8 acres cut, hopefully I can finish up the rest tomorrow.

it was just a light rain, and I have a roof and windshield on the ranger, it was just cold, it never got above 55 here yesterday. and its about that now, should be a really nice day

Wow 55, that is cold. We topped out at 85 yesterday and are looking for 90s this weekend. But I will be in El Centro for a wedding. It is soo depressing being that close to the dunes and having to just drive by. I hope you can find some peeps for this weekend so you can get that car out and stretch its legs.

El Golfo de Santa Clara. My wifes grandparents are celebrating thier 50th aniversery by renewing thier vowes. Its going to be a huge party with lots and lots of people and we are hoping to get a good two or three days of riding in. James and Sandra may be comming im not sure yet. There are rumored to be some big dunes somewhere behind the town and we are hoping to find them. The fact that it sits right on the beach doesnt hurt either. Golfo is about an hour and a half south of yuma in Mexico if you didnt guess already. There is an RV park right on the beach so even if there arent the HUGE dunes that we have heard about it is one hell of an excuse to sit on a beach for a weekend and sip cervesas.

It really is just a poor fishing village, but I love it with a passion. Very quiet and comfortable. The beach house is a bonus, but even without it I would still go down there whenever I could

My work for today was to mow a few acres, but the mower just lost the air filter so I gotta order up a new one.

aint no way no how I am pushing the mower over 18" tall grass around the 8 acres that need to be cut, so I had a tough day of figuring out how to get all my desert crap into a new trailer and playing Xbox

yeah, that is why I jumped on here to take a breather. I actually feel bad I didnt get much done, tomorrow will be a good clean the shop/empty the truck day, we are helping Robins sister move on Sat.

I HATE moving people!!! I think we can at least get it all in one load between the flatbed trailer and flatbed truck.

Yea i hate it too....

I told Robin that if her stuff is already packed and good to go, then no prob, but if crap is everywhere and she is packing AND moving then I am leaving, I will offer to help move your stuff, not pack, clean, move and unpack.

Robin said that she has been moving her small stuff in her car over the last week or so, so it should just be the big stuff, which shouldnt be that bad.
