well Congrats again morning just got back from g and had a blast alittle warm ,but the night runs are HERE!

I will think about it, I know it will be too hot for Robin and the "kids" the car is also going back to Phoenix in a week or so, so it depends on when I get it back too.

I checked the weather it says Mid 80's

When are you guys going? I just realized its now May, I thought you were going this weekend

Friday afternoon to Sunday Yfz4kt might be coming also

pretty sure the car will be in Phoenix by then, oh well. I could postpone the car going to phoenix, but its just a good time to get it in and out for them.

I am going to try and make it, but sounds like I may have to work 12 hrs Sat........still up in the air.....

evening all. Just got back from el Centro and let me say I feel sorry for all you moofers who had a chance to dune this weekend but didnt. The weather was perfect. morning guys, every day is a new challenge, yesterday all the logistics of the funerals were figured out, there will be a smaller service this Friday for family and friends, then Tuesday he will be placed at Fort Rosecrans in a military style funeral, then next Friday will be a full departmental service from the Forrest Service. So the next week and a half are going to be very draining and emotional. Last night was the first night Robin and I got more than an hours worth of sleep at one time, and I was woken up by our neighbors wife at there regular home in Irvine asking if I would go down to their house next to us and let her husband use our phone (they dont have one) so that she could talk to him because her mother died last night. So I am going to run down to their house next to us in a minute, then make a few calls and head down to Robins moms house and hang out there until tonight. None of us know what to do, we are all just in a state of shock and confusion, I really had no idea how much of an impact Don had, but he is the subject on many websites and he touched alot of peoples lives. It is kind of like a guest book so there are a few different topics all put together, but if you read what people said about him, it really gives an understanding of what he was like. I gotta go talk to the neighbor about his loss now and let him call his wife, you guys have a good day.

Morning Ian, I am somewhat lost as to what is going on but I hope that it will improve for you and Robin. The last two years have been very hard on my wifes family in this way so I know how you feel and I hope that this will pass.

Morning Ian ,hope todays going a little better...

Morning everyone, today should be a better, we had the first memorial service yesterday, we expected 30-35 people, but a little over 100 showed up, so that was nice, we heard some good stories about Don, and it was uplifting to hear how much people appreciated him, now there is the military one on Tuesday and the Fire Service one next Friday. We are all pulling together and making it easier for each other, it will be hard in the days and weeks to come but we have alot of support from everyone. (including the great GD.com family we have come to love).
