Yes he is going into his first surg. tomarrow for his back..He will need at least 2 and Will be in That hosp for at least 3 weeks...He doesn't remember anything...He will be in a back brace for 6 month to a year...

Jeanette went to Vegas today to see him and drop off some buggy mags and other stuff to read.

Yeah, we are getting everything ready, not much left to do. I was about THISSSS close to picking up a new ds 650X. I mean financing and everything was set, then Erica decided it wasnt a good idea as she wanted to pay off some items first. So I had to tuck my tail and call the poor salesguy and tell him to cancel the order.
I hope that you and Ian are doing as well as you can. Erica's family has had a trying last two years so we have been down that road more times than we should.

good deal, well at least you guys are in the thinking about it and planning stage, which is better than nothing, I also feel the bigger cars are much safer, which is a major factor after recent events.

he didnt get the rail back yet, it is getting put back together as we speak, he should have it next week sometime, then mine is going back for some "stuff"

Ian you and yours should join us. Erica and I have been looking forward to next season to get the chance to meet you and Robin, so why not bumb it up a couple of months. Its a great little town nothin to do but ride sit at the El Capitan and enjoy a ocean breeze and enjoy a ice cold drink of your choice. Its about an hour and a half south of yuma. My wifes grandmother and grandfather are renewing thier vows for thier 50th aniversery. So saturday will be a rather large party but thursday friday and sunday will be mostly for riding and enjoying what looks to be a couple of beautiful days

AAron, that does sound really nice, and I really dont have a good reason not to go, I wont lie and make something up, but the last 2 weeks have been so crazy, we all have been on an emotional rollercoaster, and with the last memorial service yesterday, now I think we can concentrate on moving forward, so I am reserving the next month or so to doing that, and to help Robins mom start thinning out all the extra stuff that is around, and wrapping up unfinished projects, so that she can have a little peace.

All I gotta say is WOW, the ceremony was quite an event yesterday, when we walked in, there were firefighters standing at attention down the 200' walkway to get into the building, then there were about 12 speakers, a power point presentation that was really nice, then we were escorted outside through the firefighters standing at attention again, then there was a precession of about 30 fire trucks and after that a flyby from the S.D. firefighter helicopters right over us. It was truely a memorable event.
Wow that is cool
those are some very moving ceremonies for sure....
It was amazing, and we let them tape it so that someday we will be able to show our children a little of what their grandpa was like.
