Dude....shut up. Your rig is as nice, if not nicer than mine. We'll even dump it my place afterwards. I still have to run it by the wife. She is really bummed about the rail.

Justin said they were working this past weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. So I figured there would be some good progress on assembly so I e-mailed him this morning and he said he would get his camera after lunch. It is after lunch.......no pics...........no phone call.........no e-mail......not answering his cell phone.

KWC is suppossed to install my carpet tomorrow, but the forcast is rain til Fri, so it MAY get pushed back til the week after Christmas, and if that happens....the desert may not. I am rippping out the carpet today reguardless. Its clear blue skies now, but who knows what tomorrow holds. Anyone got any ideas on how I can get carpet in while its raining?

I have an e-mail into Justin to get me pics of right now so I can see what progress, if any has been made. Last time we talked, on Friday, he said he was going to make delivery on the 27th in Glamis. If that is so then they should have a substantial amount of assembly done since they worked Saturday and Sunday, according to him. Hopefully he will send me more updated pictures and I will post them as soon as I get them. I certainly hope these are not the most updated

Just got off the phone with Justin and he has run into some "difficulties" that he is trying to work around and through and get this done. He will have an answer for me tomorrow of 100% YES or NO if he can deliver between the 26th and the 31st, so tomorrow I'll know if I am going to Glamis for delivery or putting off delivery until the Regatta in January. From the sounds of the problems, I will be waiting till January

I do have confidence, however, that if he just can't get it done for the 26th thru the 31st that I WILL get delivery in January.

Ernie who does the wiring is sick as a dog and went home sick today also. Wiring is a 3 solid day job and Justin brought in someone from the outside to work on it but he is already behind the power curve on it. He also had some difficulties with employee attitudes this weekend and some warping of the dash which he sent out to a body shop to fix. Not insurmountable but it doesn't look good. As Burt said, "See ya at the Regatta", might be what I am saying tomorrow. I hope like hell not, but...............

I am crossing my fingers for you guys...I REALLY hope things work out for the best.
Burt I feel where you are coming from. I am kinda speechless as to what to do. Things happen, unfortunately there are just more things in this case.
Believe me, if there were anything I could do for ALL parties I would be doing it, and I am trying to do just that.
Try to have a decent evening. and my PM's are open for any ranting and/or venting that needs to be done.

Wha cho guys doing this evening? Gonna watch the Sharks vs. the Ducks here in about a half hour or so.
After talking with Justin and having a good conversation, if he says he can't make delivery, I am actually OK with it. I thought I would be more pissed but I am feeling OK about it. Maybe Burt and I will take delivery together then eat all of Justin's food at the Regatta!!!!! Now don't get me wrong, I am hoping against all odds that he says he is going to be able to do it, but if not, I think I can live with it.

I am gonna go fix some dinner right now, then maybe play on the PS3 or Xbox. Dont really know. I may just finish dinner, take a shower and go to bed. Its freakin cold in the house. With all the carpet gone all the cold from under the house is coming up from the wood floor. With any luck I will have carpet on Thurs. depends on the weather. Clouds came in pretty quick this afternoon, hopefully they will leave just as fast.
Sorry to hear about the car. Better to be patient and have it take a bit longer and done right than to have it thrown together and something overlooked. No worse feeling than watching your car go back on the trailer it got delivered on.
Sand Tramp
Dec 18 2007, 07:20 PM
I think that is why I am pretty OK with it. I want the car to be perfect and in talking with Justin, he doesn't want to deliver something that is not up to standard. He is doing everything in his power to make sure the car is perfect. It helps also that I no longer feel his reasons for not delivering are excuses and are actual reasons. That sounds harsh but that was where I was at before talking with him today. I hope to have more pics of the car with some assembly to it by tomorrow and also Justin's final decision on delivery. I think he is going to say NO, I am hoping he says YES, and I am OK with it either way.
