Hey Ian did you ever get cold feet when you ordered your buggy.Iam alittle it is just alot of money for us right now.Jeanette says to late it is done.

I get cold feet every time I make another installment.

Hell I have gone through the cold feet thing and Im only trying to spend 7k on a quad. I think its normal. Just wait untill you have it sitting in your garage, the cold feet will be replaced by a huge effin smile

Aaron is right, you will feel great in the end, but yes, Ian had cold feet pretty much the whole time. It is a lot of money, but don't worry, I am sure Jeanette is making sure you are getting the best deal possible. And the saying is true, you can't take it with you when you are gone, so do it now, while you and your family get to enjoy it

yes that is one of them but, i have a big one comin next week as soon as its finished, i wish i had some pics so i could cut and crop some bits and pieces but Robin, i believe you already no I wasnt able to hold out from Ian but another great thing is i get my car back this next weeknd at buttercup , and i cant wait to see what she"ll do!! I NEED A SEVERE ADRENELIN RUSH,I took the porsche out but it wasnt like the LT no jumps or wheelies! just acceleration and that some times isnt enough

Yeah Wes, I had a little bit of the "I could do this or get that" thing, I would think of all the other things I could have bought, basically the money was already destined to go to a buggy, the subject had come up a couple years before we were ready to sell the house, so I knew it was coming. I still get the "what if" syndrome every once in awhile, I could have gotten a nice streetbike, decent boat and a cool car, but those three together doesn't equate to half the squeal factor I get with my buggy, right now as I look at it in the trailer being unhappy, I think of other things I could have bought, but once I see sand all those thoughts leave my mind, and the only thought I have is how to keep the sand out of my teeth cuz I am smiling so much.

I do the same thing, I analize the crap out of everything that costs over $100, its like I have to sell it to myself, but it makes me feel better with the purchase, I have this disease that I want everything, or having .........would be cool, so in order to convince myself I need it, I think about it for quite some time. For example, I have wanted this particular table saw for about 3 years, but I always seem to get by using something else, well I was building something that would make it much easier and come out nicer if I had it, so Robin finally went out and bought it for me and I am so glad she did, I love that saw.

The only thing right now that is making me think twice about the buggy, is I watched survivor last night and saw that shiny new corvette convertible, that sure would have been nice to own, but I can't jump that vette, and I already have too many cars.

I have noticed that Ian likes to do all of the leg work, but when push comes to shove, I end up making the decisions. I think he likes it that way, because then he can say "Well you made me do it" Just kidding sweetie, but that Vette sure would be fun to drive to work everyday. Though I think I would get my license suspended for speeding pretty darn quick.

The life of an adrenalin junkie! It used to be that going fast was enough. Now you need to go fast jump high, and stare at the sky while doing 90! Its a tough life.

James if it was my decision the quad would already be in my garage. Unfortunitely Erica isnt nearly as excited to get one as I am. As a matter of fact she is getting pretty damn pissed because I keep bugging her to let me get it

Morning everyone, yup I went to the show yesterday, it was good, kind of like the SSSS but not with as many people, and big name builders werent there, I saw one buggy that looked like it was ready to fall apart on the showroom floor, the welds were HORRIBLE and I dont know anything about the design of a frame, but even I could tell it was weak, it was so sad.

And there was another builder there that I was just wasting time looking at their car while by bro went to the bathroom, I had my dunebuggy.com shirt on and the guys says "I see you have visited dunebuggy.com" I said yeah, I have the same builder for my car, he replies with "I'm sorry", I was just floored, I was about to start spouting off to the guy, but just laughed and said "I'm not" then walked away. What an ass!!! but other than that it was fun, we left earlier than I thought we would, so we hopped on over to the beach and took the coast highway all the way home. Plenty of scenery that route.

No kidding. This summer is going to be all FUBAR'ed. Memoral day weekend Erica and I are going to be in Mexico, then the last week of June we are taking a nice vacation to get some time to ourselves. and as soon as we get back we have the OTL to try to get to.

When you and John are on this side of town I think I will try to steal away and get a ride in

Man when i live in phoenix we rode everywhere,,but all you got to do is call him ,that's if you want to ride ....
He getting ready for the st A trip then to coos bay,then to coral pink,,so i know his big bike is in the shop ,and he building yet another buggy Faster than the one before...so you know him BIGGER IS BADDER ,,and Faster is Faster...
He's been spending the weeks at his house in Havasu with the boat and weekends in Avondale... ,,..
We dont wait for the weather to change we just go to different dunes ,,TRUE SAND DUNERS!!!!
I take it you cant wheel with him anymore since he has built his jeep up? poison spyder chassis all that..??.

I thought he sold the Jeep???? Damn I need to get out more, all that fun stuff and I still havent gotten out for a ride with him in almost two years.

Naw he only sold the one that was sitting in the driveway that was one of his sons,,he still has the f-350 with the 25 "lift on 44's that running 500 hp. and that red viper that Tami drives..and this ..it's also on 44's...
