well, Aaron, this was the year to do it. I only have about 6-7 trips in this year, Missed Halloween and T-day, but I have 2 more trips that are set in stone, and possibly one or two on top of that. Then I am thinking of a day trip with Dan to somewhere local.

As much as I hate to say it, I want to get out on the 2 wheeler and have some fun on that on the streets.

Dan, most likely will be just the buggy then, we can go for a nice easy cruise so you can follow no problem

still sucks missing out on some sand time I have grown to love. Its still pretty clowdy and dreary here today I was hoping it would clear up a bit today

Dan, thats a tough one, I am just bringing the buggy. too lazy to unload the buggy and throw the quad in anyway. How about leaving yours home, bring the blue one, and if you want to go for a ride with wifey you can ride the 400? I would offer up my trailer but I need it all week for work. I dont think Robin is bringing out a trailer, or I would see if I can get it out for ya. I dont like her pulling the enclosed with her Burban til we get it re-geared. Let me know if you have any ideas. On the GH thing, I didnt know you had III, I want a second guitar, and a wireless one at that. I cant find the guitar just by itself, they all come with the games.

Shellie, I am feeling much better today thanks, Robin and I watched Saw IV today, definately better than III, and hopefully V will be just as good.

Lucky, as much water that is in that creek now, it was dry just 3-4 months ago, it runs pretty good during winter and a bit during spring, but as soon as the weather warms up and the rains stop it turns into just a little trickle (about 2"-3" wide). Last summer it completely dried up. Same with our neighbors pond that is the last pic, that was completely dry a few months ago. I would love to let our dogs go for a swim in it. They only live there about every 3rd weekend or so. its their vacation house.

I got a good recipe for salsa and have made a bunch of it up. Bringing some out next weekend with chips for everyone to try it out. Not so hot you have to chase with a beverage but has a good flavor!

Well, I it wont help for this weekend, but want to make the front of your trailer a stacker sometime. we could basically make a "shelf" for a quad and some gear on it, get a cheap winch to pull it up there, as long as you dont think it will be too much weight for the moho. If you can fit the 2 big quads side by side up front, then the buggy behind that, we could make a rack that the 400 and blue quad can sit on above them. Let me see if I can find a pic of something similar to what I am thinking about.

Shouldnt be more than 150lbs of steel. And I think it would be more than strong enough. Let me know what ya think.

hey Ian, I used the paint stripper and most of paint has come off the steps. Now the second problem, they added some texture crap on top of the normal concrete. It is a real bitch to get off, the pressure washer is doing it but taking a lot of effort. Any suggestions on how to lift the stuff up. I almost thought about taking an angle grinder and just doing some light sweeps with it. Hope everyone had a nice weekend, I get an extra day tomorrow but I have a bunch of errands to run. Peace

Dan, what about putting the 2 small quads up top in the front, driving the buggy in, then the 2 bigger quads behind the buggy. That should balance the weight a bit better. The thing that would get kinda tricky is figuring out something so that it wouldnt block the door. Maybe put it on a hinge in the front? and have it fold up or down, it wouldnt be 100% out of the way. kind of depends on exactly what you need to fit, and what the weight limits are. Like you said, where there is a will there is a way. Maybe back the buggy in, winch the front up and put the 2 small quads under it in the back. I dunno, but I got a welder and am lookin for something to do with it.

Aaron, its kind of hard to picture it without seeing it, but if its like a coating on top of the concrete, will it scrape up? like with a scraper? They have hand ones that I use to remove thinset from concrete when doing tile demos, but I have also rented an electric one which took it up like butter, maybe check into something like that. Using an angle grinder will piss off your neighbors, take lots of time, create a ton of dust, and could scar the concrete underneath. Take some pics and post them.

I have ZERO idea when I am getting there, with having today off I dont think I can squeek away early on Fri, kinda depends on how things go this week, but if I put in 3 12 hour days and get alot done, then I might be able to. The truck is already fueled up, and trailer is pretty much loaded, so I dont have alot of prep work to do when I get home.

Well I just slathered the shit out of the front steps with the paint stripper and it seemed to pull up the texture was well. I would say I am 90% finished, I just need to make one more pass with it later and it should be good to go. The alarm guys came early today and thats done and installed. Hell of a good deal at that. I'll give a quick one.

Friday, we were supposed to leave SD around 10a. Well, in typical me fashion, we weren't ready by 10 and it's a good thing since all the rain and snow from the day before cause black ice over the 8 from Alpine to Jacumba. They opened the freeway sometime around noon and we took off at about 12:45. Ended up arriving in GW around 3:30 after a stop in Hell Centro. 50 and RZR Ronnie came up and guided us in. We ended up having a decent sized group, 7 or 8 rigs and a couple of stragglers. A couple of our group had some issues on the trip over. Dune Fury (my buddy Brian) blew an inside dually somewhere around El Centro, and Cal, Bhobbs pops's moho broke down around Dunaway Rd, and had to be towed to the Ford dealership. Dune fury got his taken care of and still arrived around 9 on friday night. We had some good runs, nothing crazy, since we had kids with us. The weather was phenominal, the group was an awesome group of heads, 50 it was good to camp with you and Stacy again, and RZR Ronnie and Sabrina are some cool people, as was your bro Robbie. Hope we can do it again.

I had a great time, thanks for letting Carrie and I camp with you guys. A great group of people to camp with and some good runs. I was even left alone with 6 chicks by the fire on Saturday night (Sounds great, until they take out all the hate they have for men on you )

Put in an 11.5 hr day today trying to get things done so I can get off at a reasonable time on Fri, The bathroom should be completely done by mid week next week, its really coming together now. Got all the drywall hung, taped and textured today. Paint tomorrow, Tile floor Thurs, then Grout and misc stuff on Fri.

Ankle is fck'd. MRI on thursday, another Doc appt a couple of weeks afterward, then probably surgery. Going to Vegas in the begining of April, so I won't let them schedule a surgery before that. I limp to vegas before going on crutches. As far as a ride, I still would be down for a mellow one. I know my buddy Brian (dune fury) will be up too.

hope they figure out the ankle thing. after this weekend I only have one more desert trip planned, so I have a feeling the bike will be coming out to play more. The latches on my wing trunk broke, so I either have to get them fixed ASAP or run without a wing. Buggy got loose in the trailer, rubbed against the back door and caused a bit of a mess to the trunk.

Hope all you guys have a great day, I am putting in another long one again today. I just hope with this wet weather it still lets my primer and paint dry. I am REALLY hoping that the texture dried overnight, if it didnt it just put me back a day and there is NO way I can leave early on Friday if it did.

Hello all! I've been catching up at work so no GD time this week. I wanted to thank the HV crew for a good time last weekend. We went on a few mellow rides and I had fun piloting the mini rail around. Broke it the first day and had it fixed that night and it ran well the rest of the trip besides the battery issues. My kidneys are definately sore from how rough it was out there. Had a little campfire drama with me and my bro and HV got caught up in it. lol, sorry. Get drinking around family and things sometimes come out. It was good for us though. Thinking that was the last trip out for us. Hopefully the buggy see's some action before the end of the season, it's just not looking good so far. Havent heard anything in a few weeks and no responses via text or email is telling me that things are not good. Don't know how I am this patient. I should have his head above my fireplace by now. Anyways, I think I am off to do some F1 cart racing tonight to blow some steam and make fun night out of this "birthday". Hope you guys have a great day. Later.

Sorry to hear about the bro drama but better it be out than in. Our front yard is well on its way I hope, it sux not being there to see whats going on and monitor it but I have to trust the yard guy. BTW Irvine is cold and wet so I feel like I got screwed on this deal. I fly back tomarrow so hopefully the yard will be done.

Burt remember how we could never find my drain clean out. Well the landscaper said he found it and my previous grader broke it off and now there is more chit in it so I hope my drains dont back up. Erica may be stopping by if she needs to use the facilities if you know what I mean.

Afternoon guys, got the bathrooms primed and painted, the texture was still not dry from yesterday, but I have a dual burner propane heater I have been using to stay warm. I put that in there with a fan to circulate the air. I swear I got that bathroom up to around 130*. Talk about temperature shock, over 100 inside and in the 30's outside.
