carpet guys asked us to install the boards before they put the carpet down. I used tile to space the boards up a bit so they shoudl be able to make the install pretty clean. Hope you moofs have a good night. I finished the last bedroom and tomarrow will start the rest of the house.

Aaron at least they told you to space the boards up off the floor, its such a pain in the butt that way. Its like doing the base before tile and "hoping" it will work. I am sure it will turn out good in the long run, but in my opinion (you know what they say about those). It still seems bass ackwards to me. Hope you finish up soon so you can take a break.

Nothing but yard and house work for me until Sat, then its party time.

It was kind of fun trying to get the master bedroom just right on the spacing. It is the only room that has a direct transition from the carpet to the tile with the baseboards. I had to use a piece of tile with some fluff under it to mimmick thinset so the transition was perfect. I think it tuned out pretty damn good. But my wife is getting kind of grumpy since she hasnt really seen me for the last couple of days.

I spent all day cleaning today, managed to take care of most of the house, just have the master bedroom, kitchen and bathrooms to do. I made myself a "work space" so I have somewhere to concentrate on job/school stuff, I am gonna get a couple things tomorrow for it like chair, shredder, etc. Then going out to dinner with wifey and my mom.

Tonight I am gonna BBQ up some kabobs and chillax.

Morning guys. Birthday was pretty low key, spent most of the day at home by myself doing nothing, but went out to dinner with my mom and Robin. Came home to a super noisy freezer, so we spent about an hour disceting the ice maker and trying to fix it. Today is all about yardwork and cleaning house again. Robin did hook me up with a set of leathers for the streetbike, she didnt know which ones I wanted, but I found the ones I liked and she is probably going to order them today.

Well we went to the doctor and Erica and I are officially on baby watch. Doc said could be tonight could be three weeks from now, but I wont be sleeping well anytime soon

Well, I am one step closer to taking the plunge, I paid off my tuition to contractors school, sent in my application and fees to take the test, and bought the CA building code book and remodel estimator book today.

Well the contractions managed to get down to about 5-10 minutes apart but not that severe. She is begining to get uncomfortable with this so it is really just a matter of time
