Haz, the big end was opened up. 30 people got that magic IM in the email. Only 16 hardy souls showed the courage to compete though. The rest were scared off by a little rain.

Montana Girl, when the setting is right, and there's no one around with plenty of area to rip, then you'll see the chEFF open it up. That day had too many negatives, lots of people in our group, sun was setting in the eyes, other groups in the area and a small riding area. So the chEFF was very cautious. There is no excuse in the world of racing, however, in the world of limited resources to be able to make trips to Glamis, I can see where these guys, and Seefart and others, did not choose to make it. Still no excuse, and all hail SndSampler (the Big Cheese).
But hey Slap I really think you got something here. Something maybe kinda big. Dune racing as the next big thing ala District 38 or remember the old fuddpuckers and werethefugawey races. If you are looking into formalizing (is that a word) this series, and need organizational help - PM me.

This is not a dune ride folks, we are not all in a line crusing the dunes. It is a serious track that will require your full attention at all given times to aviod injury. There are no bowls and transitions - there are off camber drops, hairpin turns, jumps, and some dangerous stuff.

If your not confident you can run your quad on say Glen Helen or El Cajon - you should be somewhat cautious with your decison.[/WARNING]
