The 'ol Nissan was 'well loaded'
So loaded that my passenger had a bag on her lap and one between her legs. And I had jugs of water between my legs and the seat.

Another with a 'light' load. Easter 1999 at Buckman springs. Never drove through snow, had a full load and bald tires. Many people in the ditch along I8. I remember stopping on an uphill section just past Buckman Springs. Only way to start back up again was to let the clutch out, spin the tires, let off the gas till it almost stalled then cruise along at 3mph
