I know alot of people don't like the rangers always trying to ruin their fun, but these Deputies, Officers, and Rangers all give up being with their families to be out in the dunes to help fellow duners. They are not assigned to this task but volunteer for the assignment.

I would like to throw in their name for them for Duner of the Month for December.

I would like to nominate Dirt Diva 13.5. She went out of her way to pick up trash at olds and the drags the weekend after tday. Them damn litter bugs . While she did it most of the people around just looked at her while she picked everything up. I couldn't believe the amount of broken glass that we picked up at the Drags..

I have to agree on the props to the guys working out there. When Doc Shannon jacked himself on Halloween, I saw nothing but the utmost professional care and attitude from the EMTs that ran on him. They kicked some professional courtesy my way when it came time to transport him, and went above the call of duty from a patient care stand point. I know everyone doesn't get treated this way out there (not just at G, but EVERYWHERE 911 is in effect1), They are just trying to do their jobs, and get A LOT of flack because of who they are. I know there's a few bad apples out there, but don't knock the whole group because of a few idiots.

Heck, if that was the case, we'd have to claim people like Bluesky, etc.

I agree with Haz! These officers may not be perfect, but if your broken body is laying in the dunes, or one of our family is, you'd be damn happy they are around!!!
