This is a video made by a Canadian group fighting for access to their trail systems. It isn't sand, but it directly relates to the fight we are facing to keep our riding spots open. I have passed the link on to local goverment officials etc, hoping that something might open their eyes a little.

That was absolutely AWESOME! So much truth and fact. We really need something like this to post on here and all duning community websites. To even include footage of memorials and vigils held would show how this is not just a group of beer drinking environment haters, but families and decent people that have a heart.

That is a great idea. Anyone know a videographer that would be willing to help. Or has a video like this been produced?
I remember seeing one produced by PEER.

I agree. It's been available in the "environmental issues" section for a while, but if there is a place where it will get more attention, that's where it should be

Very cool video. It would be cool to see something along these lines for the ISDRA. Anybody know any good video production people who also like to dune?

This has been a "back burner" project on the DUNERS' to-do list for a long time.
We have the talent, we can certainly get the footage. We even have the script... a little raw maybe, but the basics are there.
Now we need the funding

Awsome.
There there has been a lot of talk about a "pro-access" video with it's focus on Glamis. I have been in meetings with people that can help make it happen. There really is a lot to making a video that will get the message across that we are really wanting to get out. Can we use more help and funding? Absolutly.
At this point what we could use is a group of people that want to sit down, perfect the message, then perfect the script. I have asked people on this board to be a part of it and have NOT recieved a response. This from people who have asked for such a video and have a name that could be a big help in this project. When the chips were down, he failed to produce. We need people that will not only talk the talk, but walk the walk.
I will be willing to dicuss this project with anyone who really wants to help, be it production or FUNDING. It needs to start with people and a willingness to sit and discuss options and messages. It wont happen overnght.
I have arranged and secured some crew, equipment, as well as flight arrangements for arial footage. There is still plenty of work to do.

I would like to help but two problems come to mind.
1. I don't know squeeze about video production, script writing, or anything else involved in the process.
2. I am eff*ing poor.

That is an awesome video. And if DUNERS plans to do one for the dunes that would be way cool.
Would be a fun project to try a simple version on my own. I don't have professional equipment but I can do web-quality stuff. I may just shoot something like that over New Years and see what I can come up with.
Looks to me like the guys in Canada put that together for zero $$$... but... I doubt the quality is good enough for a DVD, which is what would be cool if DUNERS could do.

I would be willing to donate a 100 or 200 to help for the production of one!
Any one want to match up?
