I have a friend with a 1984/5? Honda 250R and is looking to change front forks(he bent his)
Is he limited to his certain year or will any year do as long as the length and diameter are the same?
how about changing the whole triple tree from one year to the next?

84 Air cooled ,85 water cooled, don't know if you can interchange fork tubes though the back shock is deffantly differant. 84-85 frame geometry is differant

84 and older are different than the 85-85. i htink they are the same as the 200x though.

if he has an 85 and needs forks, let me know. i might know someone willing to get off a set of 86's for real cheap.
