has anyone else noticed the amounts of trash in the flats out at gordons? it seems to be horrible this year. i got a flat in one of my razors due to the trash. and this past weekend i had to ride really defensive and it wasnt due to amount of people out there. it was cuz all the trashy spots out there, i had to avoid some many cuz i didnt want anymore flats.
this brings up a question for some... when is the south dunes cleanup? i really want to try to help out this year. last year i admit i didnt nor years past but its gettin sad to see all the trash people just leave out there even when there is a dumpster less than a 1/2 mile away to dump.
does anyone know when thats gonna be? maybe we could get a huge group from here to go out for the weekend and camp together and all go help clean up together.

The south dunes cleanup has been moved to the saturday of MLK weekend, the same as the north dunes cleanup (a move I personally don't agree with.)
More info here:
http://glamis-cleanup.org/The site should have more details soon I'm told.

that does seem really stupid to have the north and south the same day, I was going to go to both for the first time, but guess now I have to choose. seems like it will only be half as effective this way.

Still can't figure out what is so hard about "Bringing home what you brought in"? I plan on going to the "south dunes" clean-up since that is where I primarily ride and can't be in two places at the same time.

its a tough one, I was going to go up to Glamis for our once a year trip that weekend, but I will probably stay in the south now, since that is where I call my home away from home.

No doubt...especially since the small number of people who are informed, concerned,
and motivated normally try to make both cleanups. I was going to try this year (my first at either cleanup), but the south dunes organizers are excluding me as a Glamis local, just like they're preventing you Gordie's locals from helping your bros up north.
