I just have to say this board has surprised me. I have met friends that I will probably have for the rest of my life and they seem to keep coming. I admit I was scared to meet at a gathering not knowing a single person except the people I came with. Im so glad I did show up cause I would hate to miss all the fun times I have had with all of you.

My personal friends call me up and ask hey whats up havent seen or heard from you in awhile. I really have no legit excuse but Ive been hanging out with my bulletin board friends.

Im sure most of you who I know felt the same fear of meeting new people not knowing what or who your going to meet but we all seem to blend together better than most would think.

Cant wait til next season to meet many more lifetime friends.

GS, Glamis is just that way, we meet people with the same interest, and they often become great friends. I'm really bummed that I missed all your gatherings. I will definitely make a few next season. Peace bro.

I had a similar situation around the begining of March at the south dunes clean up. I kept running into people I knew or who recognized me even though I didn't know them. All my "real life" friends kept asking where I met all these people.

Even back around Thanksgiving last year my friends wanted to know how I had met all the people I kept running into. The web is just a great meeting place that really helps my other favorite meeting place...Mother G!

Just watching the on-line duning community grow as it has over the past two years has pleased me to no end. I knew duners were great people who wanted to share ideas but had no good way to stay in touch durring the off-season. Unfortunatly our enemies (CBD and friends) knew this as well and took advantage of it to sneak in that nasty lawsuit and settle it before most duners even knew it has been started.

But we've shown them - we've come together and formed friendships and started to get our voices combined into a powerfull political voice. Never again will they sneak up like that and catch us with our guard down and never again will dunes have to live in isolation durring the off-season.

Damn I love the 'net.

YOU KNOW WHAT, YOUR RIGHT. ITS REALLY STRANGE HOW DIFFERENT WE ALL ARE BUT YET WE SEEM TO HAVE A REALLY GOOD TIME. WITH SOME MINOR TRASH TALKING EPISODES, user posted image IT ALL SEEMS TO COME TOGETHER VERY WELL!

Yes Taco, it is cool to meet new people. We all have our opinions that we feel strongly about. Those opinions are not meant to be "written in stone"; just opinions. I have had a great time talking and at times arguing on the bulletin board. Makes me want to get out and get some sand in my hair! I checked the temp out there at 8:30 this AM; 77 already. Man gonna be a hot one out there today. I guess October will be here before I know it. With the riding season comes another birthday, UG!!! user posted image
