still going to be right down to the wire, but I know that if it is possible Justin will make it happen, its all about hurry up and wait, I should know by Tues/Wed for sure, they were waiting on the console and trans to get back from paint, but hopefully they got that yesterday, and will install Mon/Tues, leaving panels (if they are done) and trim Tues/Wed then take delivery on Wed/Thurs, the rest of the money is going into the account to cover the check tomorrow just in case, and I am also pulling the trailer out of storage just in case.

I am hoping to take delivery on the weekend of the 8th so it will all be broken in by the 15th, I will talk to Justin tomorrow to see how things are looking, I can tell he is just as frustrated as I am. its been a race over the last 2 months between if we move or get the buggy first, every time I am supposed to get the car, we are scheduled to move and both get cancelled. kinda funny if you think about it.

Damn this buggy is starting to sound like a dream.
A dream to drive for this wait. I can only imagine the frustration you are feeling right now, but I will be experiencing it soon. Just ordered my frame.
Not anything like yours, but will be fun. Beam front 15" travel all around.

Hope yours is done soon

Ian, WOW worth the wait! That car is gonna be SWEET!

My car will be ready for delivery on Friday and will post some pics when I get her home. Have to wait on the weather since I have to take delivery and drive it home on a flat bed from Ontario

. Either way I plan on taking it out for a test run on the 15th for the cleanup. Hope you make it that weekend so I can see the finished product.

Jan 6 2005, 07:25 AM
thanks JWB, that is the only thing that is keeping me sane through all this is that I KNOW it will be worth the wait, my buddy loves his predator so I know I will love mine, I just wish the painter would do what he said he would do, that is the ONLY thing stopping the car from being done.

Screamin Ian
Jan 9 2005, 08:26 AM
well I got a couple pics of the center console yesterday, and it looks pretty good, I am having trouble opening them with the right program to shrink them down so I can post, and since 1/2 our stuff is here in the rental, and we are living in our new place, we are just a little mixed up, but hopefully our internet will be at the new house soon, along with the rest of our stuff, and things will calm down, the rain is wreaking havoc on us, since we are moving everything ourselves and have open trailers it would get ruined if we moved while it was raining, so as soon as it stops, there will be some long days to get this place cleaned up. but will try and post as much as I can.

Gee thanks midpinto, it sure is nice of you to offer to help. We moved out to the boonies of Santa Ysabel, between Ramona and Julian. So far we have managed to get everything moved ourselves, depspite the rain. Hopefully it will all let up tomorrow and we can get the rest of our stuff. Ian won't be getting his car this weekend

, so we should be able to get it done. Thanks again for the offer.

well painter number 4 got the stuff yanked from him last week, and I am glad, it was so not what I wanted, so Friday it all went to painter #5 (Deano's custom painting), they are going to start stripping off the shitty work that G Force Graphix did, and start laying primer this week, and on Thurs or Friday I am meeting with Deano and going over what I want, he should be laying paint by Friday or Monday, and should take about 2-3 weeks, then to final assembly to best case senerio I should get it in about a month. thats about the jist of it.

me either, it has kind of been a blessing in disguise, I came out with a way better tranny, and a much better paint job than if I would have got it on time, so other than the wait, it has been worth it.
