Does anyone in here know where I can find a good helmet repair man? Heres the deal, I have a shoei Troy Lee Designs helmet and last season my brother in law knocked it off my bike, and it hit my footpeg, it took a chunk out of the helmet about 1/16 in deep, 1 in long, 1/4 wide, so he'll need to use some type of filler to do it, and is it on the black part so it shouldnt be too hard.

PLEASE HELP!!

I'll make a suggestion... but I don't think you'll call it "help"...

The general 'rule of thumb' for damaged helmets is simple... replace it.

That small chunk may have weakened the helmet to the point where it no longer protects you.

Just my opinion, and I'm sure it's not what you wanted to hear... but it is generally considered the smart thing to do.

Good luck

BamBam just said the exact same thing... however, its only the paint that has been chipped.
