A true bummer that this year as in the last year I gotta remember to put the old 45 in the jeep box so that we dont need to worry when we park out in the dunes for a fire at night. I remember when Glamis didnt have these problems. It is a true shame to see the drug dealer gang banger money trucks out there. The rolled "01" jeeps and trucks that get reported stolen. If you truly love the Dunes, SHUT UP.... quit telling people about what a great place it is to party. I tell everyone its great for riding, but a real bust for partying....

That's the answer. I agreee! Someone sees the light.

Anyone trys to steal my stuff out there..drunk or not.. look out.

That has to stop. We gotta take charge of that ourselves.

20 bikes were stolen I heard Halloween.
Everone keep an eye out T-day!

LOL...I wonder if we shot the thiefs while in the act if that is considered a felony... Get a motion detector lights with some big flood lights.. That sure does detour people from stealing your shiat.. And chaining them up although Ive heard storys of thiefs just draging the bikes away and cutting the chain .

I've been chaining up my bikes for years at Glamis (and Buttercup). Ice chests and gas are placed as close to the camper as possible. Dog is put on high alert and the kids are told to wake me if they hear anything. People give me funny looks when I park the bikes near the door to the camper and run the chain through them but it works. Mine may not be the trickest bikes out there but I worked long and hard for what I have. I will never make it easy for the lazy to have a nice ride. As for the pistol, I'll leave that up to you.

Just a heads up that in CA deadly force is illegal to protect your property - on legal to protect your own life.

Don't want to see anyone get into trouble trying to stay out of it.

Well, the pistol'e thing ruffling feathers? I can tell you this, I would not be a victim like we saw last year at Gecko. California law says you have to show "imminent fear for your life". This would be the only situation you would see my brand. Responsible people are armed all around you, just that the nature in them don't tell you. I ain't no money flasher, so, If I called up the armor I would be squeezing for the grape...

We've never had any problems, but I think this is because someone is our camp is always up till the sun comes up. This always helps.

I'll be packing the 12 gauge. The sand is soft, I can dig a pit no problem. What low-life thiefs? I didn't see any thiefs... user posted image

Can't seem to remember any problems i've had at Mother G. Now, back in the day in Mexico where the great Lobster days of Puerto Nuevo for $20.00 including beers was the talk of the town. And the fill of the gut too. What place am I talking about? Anyway, a 250R was stolen and the boys who took it pushed it from camp a couple miles down the beach, hid it in the bushes. When morning came we walked down the tire tracks those couple miles and there it was, in the bushes. Thank goodness for the intelligent thiefs of the world. Bike was quick too. What place am I talking about? I'm not expecting an answer soon since all is enjoying the T-Giving weekend in the great place of Mother G. You lucky dogs. See ya soon. Peace
