Full Version: A Christmas Sermon

The Pastor
It's Christmas time. To some that means time with family and friends, to others that means time off from work so that time can be spent in our favorite place, Glamis, and to a few lucky others it means both!

Many may have noticed a few quite active topics lately concering a so called "riff" between the two boards. To that I would like to say... HUMBUG!

There is no riff. There never has been. There is only some misguided perception that
ONE, Glamisonline.org IS the ASA... NOT TRUE
TWO, Everyone at Glamisdunes.com has a beef with the ASA and by association with GlamisOnline.org... REALLY NOT TRUE

Think for a momment about any kind of riff between this board and ANY OTHER BOARD? There are many boards out there. Markie Mark has one. There is a good one at Offroad.com, I'm sure there are many others... but it's these two boards that so intermingle that there is a perceived "riff".
We are so intermingled that I dare say we are one board! Sure, some people have some issues with some other people... but you get that in every family.
Our message, of which we have often strayed from, has always been one of inclusion. EVERYONE is welcome. Good messages, bad messages, messages that seem high and mighty and messages that seem to have little or no value at all. ALL MESSAGES are welcome!
This means that if I want to talk about my hangnail then I can talk about my hangnail. No message should take away from the value of others. THERE IS NO BAD MESSAGE. Just the fact that someone took the time to post should be enough for anyone! If you don't like what was said then make a comment, or just ignore it... what does it hurt?

It is Christmas, after all... We ARE all duners. Even Joe Sixpac who just wants to camp out in the great outdoors and doesn't have a quad. Even the pack of 18 year olds who pile into dad's brand new Chevy 4X4 and sleep under the stars. Even Slappy, who would has shown his love for nature and all it's glory and would be just as happy living at Glamis whether he had a ride or not. WE'RE ALL DUNERS!

I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas to everyone. And to those of you who do not celebrate Christmas then I hope you TOO have a very merry holiday.
Please, be safe!

Sincerely
PastorVor
