I hope ya all had a cool Christmass. I have a question concerning one of my gifts. I got this Kawasaki ATV CD Rom game. First of many off road games I want to get. I'm thinking a joystick of some type would be cool. Do they make a joystick that simulates handle bars? If so where could I get one? Also any other leads on cool games with like quads or other ATV stuff?

This one is cool (So realistic) It has Dry lake beds and Dunes, But the realistic part is that they have a green Mojave, like mine, and it can't get up some really big hills user posted image Its so real!!!

I know Motorcross Madness has 'dunes' area and you can compete with each other online.

I didn't know there were PC games for quads though. I know Sony playstation has a quad game, but I want one for my PC.

I just want to know how to program the game to put a checkered flag on the whip. user posted image

BTW, I changed my signature statement. user posted image Some people thought that other statement was too mean, so to appeal to their sensitive nature, I went with my current statement.

Hey Tim I've got Motorcross madness wanna hook up on-line for some group riding sometime user posted image I know that "Yuma Dunes" is supposed to be the ISDRA but they really didn't research it very well.

As for handlebar controllers there are two that I'm aware of.

1) The Microsoft Sidewinder Freestyle Pro Which has a tilt sensor so you actually tilt it left and right to control your bike and forward and back to make your rider sit and stand. I got mine a few years back with the original MCM for aoubt $35. It takes some getting used to but is really sweet once you adapt. My business partner who HATES computer games was HEAVILY addicted to MCM when he tried that controller. It's still listed as current on Microsofts website so it should still be available. A search on pricewatch.com found three places selling it for under $45.

2) Ducati is now selling a handle bar controller but I've heard very few positive things about it. I think motorcyclist covered it in a recent issue it's $68 bucks and you can get it from their website at:

I got MCM I also! And I got the same controller. It's cool how the guy leans the bike.

After this holiday trip, I'll try to find the CD and install it in my newest computer. I haven't played it in a year so I'll be a bit rusty.

But it may be fun to have a race, online, with no ecos trying to close the dunes.

In the future, this may be the only way way to ride in the dunes. user posted image user posted image user posted image

Cool finally some people to do some on-line riding with! I'll dig out my controller and MCM disc when I get back from New Years. Maybe next week some time some of us can try and do some on-line duning!

I'm pretty rusty myself - can't remember the last time I played.

I also ordered a new set of LCD 3D shutter glasses that work just about any 3D game and can't wait to try them with MCM. Should be a blast!
