Let me see you need a green sticker. If ou don't live in Cali you don't need a green sticker. If you are talking about a dunes permit they are brown this year. Lots of places in Yuma or El Centro sell them.
Need to know which one you are talking about.

I need a non-resident green sticker so I can ride in Cali, got one earlier this year, but the non-resident ones are only good for one calendar year, it expires 31 Dec 04...I live in Nevada which requires nothing...

I'm confused....when you say Nevada requires "nothing" do you mean it doesn't require you to register your bike? Or it doesn't require you to buy some type of Nevada sticker?

If your registered in your home state you only need the Non resident use permit. Green is for California residents. You can buy the use permits at Clean genes last I checked!

If you're registered and your bike has a sticker or plate from your home state, you need NOTHING to ride at the dunes. If your bike has no plate or anything from your home state, you need the ORANGE 2005 non-resident OHV permit. This has been a topic of huge discussion lately on many dune-related sites. The consensus is, IIRC, that the BLM and Sheriff's Dept will go by the Cali law as currently written, which means no sticker if you have a plate or sticker from your home state.
Eventually, all of us non-residents will be soaked for the sticker regardless of registration status in our home states (unless street legal I presume).
