Full Version: gathering?
I'm kinda in the same boat as "big had" is. I've posted on this board several times and hit up glamis all the time with friends but never have met anyone from this board. I do know about the gathering at pad 9 this weekend and will stop by if I make it out. In the meantime drop me a line if you guys hit up happy hour in San Diego again. I'd definetely be up for that.

Hey big had, I didn't end up making it to glamis this weekend. I'm gonna go either next weekend or the following. Let me know if you can make it. Taco Tues. sounds awesome. If it becomes a reality, I'll be there.

Dam, next time I get to Bernardo you guys better be still doin this. My inlaws live right off of Bernardo ctr Drive, and I'm always looking for a way out of the house. My sis-in-law and her hubby also live right down the street in Poway.
Vor, Taco Tuesday in SD? Hmmmm, sounds like a good reason for a mini-vacation. Maybe get a hotel room down there. Keep us posted if you plan anything.

VOR, Great idea! We live in Ramona so we're not too far. This may be the only way to meet some of you on this board. We were supposed to go to the potluck Sat., but Wayno was too tanked by the time we were supposed to leave.

I'll go to El Torito this tuesday and "Check out the scene"
I'd hate to bring 20 or 30 folks to a place that just don't have room.
Then, if all goes well, we'll plan the first Sandiego Taco Tuesday for March 5th, one week from next Tuesday.
Is that a plan?

Im up for some local tacos VOR, Keeps me from staying late up in LA for theres and my wife wants to go to a gathering. The El Toritos in RB has lots of room, its just as big as Alcapulco. Lets set it up for this tuesday guys?

Exit to the EAST
Turn into strip mall right next to the freeway.
El Torito is located at the SOUTH EAST corner of Bernardo Center Drive and I 15
Behind the bank. You cannot see it from the street but you can see it if you exit Northbound 15 to Bernardo Center Drive. It's right next to that ramp.
Can anyone else elaborate?

Isn't it across the street from a Burger King?or maybe a Jack in the Box? I know it's in a strip mall on the right when you exit the 15.

Yep,
As you exit I15 NORTHBOUND at Bernardo Center Drive it is in a strip mall on the right. It is the first driveway on the right after the exit and yes, there is a Burger King across the street.

My wife has been wanting to go to a taco tuesday but she would have to drive to OC by herself since I would already be up there working, it just doesnt make sense.

Yeah we did a happy hr down at the same El Torito last year was a blast. To bad its not on a friday or else I could make it down.
