Ever notice that everyone is right, almost all the time? So who is not right? When you cruise down the highway, everyone driving slower than you is an idiot. Everyone passing you is a jerk. But, never you. You drive the right way. I wonder what the guy that you passed is thinking?
I have seen people get into fights over "being right". Its really funny. Example- Your either a Ford or a Chevy man. Its not important that you actually drive a Toyota. So this guy at my work is having a conversation with me about what a piece of crap Fords are. How GM RULES. Dodge trucks are made by "niggas", he said. I asked why. he couldn't answer me. BECAUSE he says. So he goes on to tell me all about the featues of what makes Chevy so great. (guess the other Manufacturers haven't figured out 4 wheel disc, EFI, etc) So I listen to him, agreeing with everything he can remember about Chevys (what others have told him). I listen to the belittling of Dodge, and Ford. He points out into the parking area and goes on about the guy who bought that new Dodge out there, he'll be sorry. He got screwed. He'll regret it. I smile, and listen. After break we go back to work, he being an employee of mine. After work I wave to him as I get into my new Dodge Quad Cab Truck. Guess he didn't realize I got rid of my GMC over the weekend-for a Dodge. The look on his face was priceless..... I laughed to myself the whole way home

Bingo! You hit the nail right on the head. You see similar behavior out at the desert too. You know, "My banshee will kick @ss on any Honda" or "There ain't a banshee that my 250r can't beat" or "If you want a real bike get a two stroke" or "My thumper will beat any two stroke through the dunes". I know some of this stuff is all in fun among friends but I've also seen those who become very upset if you don't think the same way they do. I just appreciate what I have to ride and am happy for others for what they have to ride. Happy duning!

Good point, Big Had. All that really matters is that your happy with your purchase. No matter what brand. As long as you keep up on preventive maintenance, they will all last long enough. Glad to see you dooped your employee. Would of loved to have been there to see the look on his face.

You look back at them like, "what the hell am I supposed to do? Traffic just stopped."

Yet, when it's you gettin blocked, your thinking, "what an idiot!"
