does anyone know of a free server that allows FTP access? i tried tripod and it closed my account because it was illegal... i want my own.. i don't want to clutter anyone elses with my pointless garbage.

Did you already check with your ISP to see if they offer some MB space for a personal web page?

As far as a free service goes, I haven't run across any yet but if I do I'll let you know.

I have found, basicly, that free means that THEY get to tell you what you can put up.
I would check with your ISP and see if you can get some space there. That is your best bet.
