Is there anybody out there that has pictures of the predator crash, at the drags at gordons. He is a friend of mine and just wondering if someone has the any! The one night I didn'ty go!

Wow...
I had just put the camera away..and was talking with Kevin McMullen..then holy cow!!! I seen the yellow Predator cartwheeling right in front of me...pretty scary shiatt!!......Went to grab the camera,but a large crowd then formed around the wreck blocking the view.The LEO,S were then in crowd contol mode!! I heard the driver was OK? but heard that a spectator was injured by the tire that flew off.
Anybody know how both the driver and spectator are doing?

Jeff I know the driver is fine! But thats all I know.

My passenger saw the spectator on a board with a neck brace..but that is standard prcedure....

I saw a yellow turbo subi beam car lawn dart off the top of China on Saturday. The driver was ok but both of his passangers were carried away and driven off by friends in other rails. I don't think the injuries were too serious but they did get pretty banged up. It was freaky to say the least. We were all sitting at the top of the hill and he went over about 20 feet from where we were sitting.

Looked like the car held up pretty well,for what it went threw!

I also saw a rolled jeep (the one that was haulin A$$ up test thurs & friday night) on way back from test saturday night.looked like it took a good roll..

If you would have been there at the sat. drags, we up the boost some more and had some fun rides down the drags

I talked to Justin (builder/camped with them) Sat at the drags, it started by the driver doing a 3rd gear wheelie and hit the tail pretty hard, pitching the car a little sideways in the air, then slamming down on the front passenger side tire, so car spun, went end over end, the a couple barrel rolls and stopped.

Driver is fine, complained a bit about having a sore wrist, but was walking around etc. Damage to the car was obviously front arm and tore the intercooler up a bit, but frame and all other components were ok, Justin said they actually had another arm at camp and could bolt it back together, but since there was intercooler damage they didnt bother with it, just an unfortunate accident and luckily nobody was seriously hurt that they are aware of,

My dad said it happened right in front of him. Back tire came off first then after that it was all over.

I didn't see a back tire off. I saw the front fly off and him flipping. We were heading back to camp at the time. I heard a break and turned as it was in mid air.

Joblo, the back tire never came off. The important thing is that the owner is fine. The car will be at the shop today and we will have it back together in a few days. I looked for a long time at the car the next day and it needs a spindle, upper arm and a tie rod. The intercooler and its scoop need to be replaced as well. Pics to follow as we get them. Justin

I saw the accident, it was pretty nasty Ian gave a good description of what happened, talked to the Leos after and was glad to hear no one was injured and driver was sober, and as a side note the Leos said overall it was a very safe and slow weekend for them.

I left just before the accident. Jeff told me about it though. I saw the car on the trailer on the way back to PHX. Man, that guy drives his MOHO just as fast as his rail. I couldn't catch up to him to get a look.

Did this happen after the sun went down? I was there but left just as the sun went down.

yup, I missed it by 10 minutes, I was 1/2 way down the hill when I heard the sirens going up, it was his last run of the day,

The front tire fell off while the car was doing a wheelie. The front end was off the ground when the tire fell off. As he came down the front end plowed and the car went end over end.

Just glad to here everyone was OK!

The front tire didn't fall off and cause the accident. I have seen video of the crash (which I am trying to get a copy of) The front tires were on the car well into its 3rd roll. On the 3rd roll the front planted on the right front, breaking the spindle and as it flipped again the tire flew off at that time. The opinion of the owner and his friends with the video was that while in a wheelie in third gear the car went up quite a ways and tagged a whoop with the tail of the car shooting the car off the ground a bit. As it came down again it was a little sideways and was more sideways when the front end came down and couldn't recover. As I get video I will post it. Justin

My bad, thats what I was told, must have just got crossed up in the translation of the story. For what its worth from the beating the car took it looks to have held up awesome considering.

what i saw both tires fly off! i wonder how many times this stories gona change, i ran the drags to many times and it was really whooped out and deep evertime i would start to wheelie the whoops would kick the rear up and bring the front back down it really sucked i hope the wind blows hardor the rain flattens them out need to bring a sraper and tractor to flatten and make the jump decent but once again the yellow predator that was flying down the track took minimul damage and glad to see nobody was hurt badly or at all dont no aboat the person who got hit with the tire but after all that THANKS JUSTIN FOR BUILDING ME AN AWESOME PREDATOR IT IS BAD A$$ AND CONTINUES TO AMAZE ME WITH ITS OVERALL PERFORMANCE love rippen bowls at 80 andfeelin safer as we look at what the yellow car went thru
