Looked like Dave from DCB in the passenger seat when I saw them at Olds.
They borrowed some tools from Sacaldmax to adjust the carb. 1000hp is what I was told.

Very nice car. Seems to handle the whoops very well, and according to the driver, it was a 1,000 hp motor.
Brodix block, (probably Brodix heads) with a nice big carb on top. Mendeola S4 trans. 17" rims with 38" tall tires. They stopped at Olds and borrowed some tools to adjust the float levels. Bohica informed me that the passenger was the owner of DCB. I really liked the workmanship and the way the two exhaust pipes met in an "X" at the end, dual 3" pipes, no less!! No muffler, but very smooth, fairly quiet considering no mufflers.
I shudder to think how much the motor cost, much less the rest of the rail.

I have talked to Dale about this (his) car qiute a bit. His brothers car was the black and silver car at the SSSS.
Dale said that he should have about the same amount of money in his motor as a Redline Twin Turbo (25-28K), but have tons of torqe and a simple package.
Sounds like he put it together- it will be interesting to see if the trans can take it. I'm serouisly considering this car for my next, but I fiqured I would play it safe and go with the Fortin 6 Seq.
I was also talking about doing something different with the front arms (look to much like Tatum- thats were he buys them, just different dimensions), he was supposed to go with solid arms- did anyone get a picture of them?
Gotta like they're style:bow:

I didn't get a pic, but yes, they looked just like Tatum front arms, the same cutouts in them. They were anodized black. He was also using a Tatum power steering unit.
Overall, very fuctional. No bling, just stout peices where you'd expect for a dual sport car. I personally am not a fan of aluminum on stressed components, but then I don't build cars for a living, so just shows you what I know.

Guys-
There is nothing wrong with a CNC made aluminum upper arm. Alot of the higher end class1 cars use them. I believe even the Herbst boys might use them on the Land Shark. The lower arm takes all the beating, and therefore should be boxed. Racer cars made 2 cars for the Herbst boys, and numerous other racing clientel.

Ryno, I could live with just the upper being aluminum, but upper and lower I dont like. It has nothing to do with questioning how strong, its just my preference- especially if you are going to spend $$$$$$$$ on something.

Duner-
The bottom arm shouldn't be aluminum. ALWAYS steel or Chromo. Dondel runs TT, I had heard/ seen a Geiser Bros. truck being built for him a while back. Geiser's are doing new trucks for about 5 teams right now. That shop is cranking!

This is the TT Dondel has been running for a few years. It is the only TT right now with IRS. They had it set up at one point with A-Arms in the rear with air shocks kept at a constant temp by circulating the engine coolant around them. Now it is set up with trailing arms in the rear with coil overs. I have not heard if the Geiser truck they are getting is IRS or not. I had a couple of shots of the IRS setup he has, but can't find them right now.
