Does the '02 Blaster have a nickel-sil sleeve? This one has way too much piston slap. Or can I just bore it for a new piston.
Thanks

i dont think its nickel, but im not sure. sorry if this isnt much help. buddy rebuilt his balster MANY time and i dont recall ever hearing anything about it nickel plated. my WR is but......dont think the blaster is.
No, the blaster is not nikasil plated. I did the top end on my wifes blaster last season. Just have it bored, and slap a new piston in. Be sure to check the rod for excessive play.

Thanks, I'm just helping a friend out. There is alot of piston slap so we are going to rebuild it now before it gets worse. This kid rides it VERY hard.
