The following is a blatant theft of post from "Sail Away", Vicki Warren... [Wink]

I was told that the Glamis segment of the California Connected program and subsequent online debate broke records when it was initially aired (yes, that in spite of Dano's silly "I know you are but what am I" tactics). I was told it will re-air this Thursday at 9:00 p.m., so if you missed it the first time around, you have another shot at it!
This show, California Connected is a great show to check out on Thursdays and apperently this thursday they are going to re-air the very popular show about Glamis...

Don't miss it!!

Does anyone know if it’s on in Orange County? I can’t find it in the listings for the O.C. area.

We just watched it. It's really kinda sad, they show these people describing how they want to walk through the dunes (But they are in the really little baby dunes) but they can't cause they're afraid us big bad duners are gonn run them over. The video's show us in the big dunes, (no walking peeps) but they don't explain it. You see some middle age moron cruisin' thru the baby dunes explainen' how us horrible peeps are gonna run them over along with the milk vetch. [Grenade] Dan Patterson is as dorky as I percieved him! [Roll Eyes]
Again Just like I said after I saw it the first time. WHY CAN'T THEY HIKE ON THE NORTH SIDE?
whats next...
but officer I wanted to hike on the freeway can you tell these evil cars not to drive here?

I got it on VHS. I might be willing copy it for some of you that really want it.

Did you forget already MRE - we aren't even supposed to drive on roads in the suburbs anymore:

Funny how the guy admits that it was the cats fault:
quote:

Bob was very cautious. He was always wary of being in the street. But one mistake, and now he's gone. He wasn't even allowed to reach his 10th birthday.

But still blames the fact that vehicles are allowed on the streets:
quote:

Streets that allow the presence of motor vehicles will never be safe. Nor can there be any pleasure in being in a place where you have to be constantly watching out for such vehicles.

At least in the next sentace he explains this irrational hatred of anything motorized:
quote:

My mother was killed in a car accident when I was 8

When it showed those rails going through the big dunes it really got me anxious to get back out there.

Patterson: what can I say about that MORON other than he's as stupid as he is UGLY. All these effin IDIOTS have had over 30,000 acres north of 78 to hike in and through for over 20 years but NO, "we want to hike on the south side where all the nasty off-roaders want to kill the plants and animals." What, aren't there any plants or animals north of 78?

IDIOTS, IDIOTS, IDIOTS, they're all IDIOTS. They remind me of the little pain in the ass kid in school who would always run his mouth and antagonize the big kids until they had enough of him and cleaned his clock. Then he would go snitch them off for kicking his ass. [Angry Fire] [Angry Fire] [Angry Fire] [Angry Fire] [Angry Fire] [Angry Fire] [Angry Fire] [Angry Fire]
