Some of you have noticed that I am now moderating Beginners and Newbies. I'd like to concentrate more on "getting the word out" and welcoming all the great newcomers to the board!
So, keep your eyes open because this forum is going to change a bit in the next few days! I'll still come by with a sermon from time to time so don't worry about that!

Still think that was one of the best ideas about how to keep the BLM from being able to shut down the dunes

it's me, nobody.. but i'm still going to be read.. as far as the trash problem in,on and around the dunes, the BLM should fine ANYONE AND EVERYONE 500.00 for EACH glass or bottle they bring on to, or into the dunes and all other areas used by the offroaders. along with extremely STIFF fines for leaving your trash in or around the campsites and the dunes,i.e. burnt chairs, couches,BBQ's you get the idea....and as far as burning pallets ...HELL NO!!!!! never...again a large fat fine for those idiots too......maybe one day one of these morons will destroy a 300.00 set of THIER tires on somebody else's trash that was left behind. BLM has a job to do. i don't recall their job requiring them to be trash pickers for a bunch of lazy asses. they DO provide enough trash bins so it does not need to be left in or on the desert. IF YOU TAKE IT THERE,YOU TAKE IT HOME ! how hard can it be? or just get it to a bin . it's not difficult, unless you're blind, lazy,or just stupid and inconsiderate. you can't get in or out without passing a dumpster. cadillacjax

i believe the fine for littering is $1000. as far as glass goes, i dont see a problem in your camp with it if your a responsible person and put your trash in the proper place. out in the dunes or the hills nope, glass breaks.

I don't believe you can be fined for having bottles in a motor home; I mean what the heck--you can have a gun in there! I just pour from bottle to plastic cup in the MH, and don't anticipate any problems.
