Howdy all, Take a minute to help me out.

I am a 5th year architecture student at California Polytechnic University Pomona. I have decided to do my thesis research project with a ISDRA motivated theme. I am an avid duner and interested in addressing the problems that are occurring at the moment. The preliminary outline of my thesis is as follows.
Due to the high tension and conflict between user groups and environmental concerns within the ISDRA, the site is a prime experimental opportunity for new social interventions. Through detailed research and the installation of specific interventions of architecture, i.e. a sand dune reasearch center and informational visitors center, the social conflict between the two groups can be addressed. Perhaps the conflict can be solved through a series of architectural interventions. (maybe not)

SO with that in mind I am posting some questions for you guys, the OHV user to address. Answer any that you like and post some new ones and you opinions anything is helpful.

1. How do you use the imperial sand dune recreation area (ISDRA)?
2. Do you feel the sand dune ecosystem is fragile?
3. Does, in your opinion, Off Highway Vehicle use harm the ecosystem?
4. How far do you think preservation should go in terms of protection?
5. What research has proven the effects of OHV use?
6. Do you feel there is a possible compromise between OHV users and preservation?
7. What could be an initial step towards a compromise between the two groups?
8. Do you think architecture in the site would harm or hinder the environment in the area?
9. Do you think the public would benefit from an information center to inform them of issues concerning the ISDRA?
10. Would a research center for the ISDRA, built within the dune system, help solve some of the research questions and promote a common ground between the two groups currently fighting over the area?
11. Would the research and information center be beneficial to the public?
12. Would the idea of a temporary structure be feasible?
13. What effect would a definitive research conclusion have on a compromise between the OHV users and the environmental groups? (assume each possibility: the study says that OHV use harms the dune system and that OHV use does not harm the dune system)
