PLEEEEEEEEEZE tell me these radio stations around this crappy imperial valley are lying... i cought wind that glamis is COMPLETELY CLOSED... Its all over the radio... SOMEONE PLEASE CONFIRM or tell me im FULL OF ****....

It's false. There is a genuine concern that the recent rash of people in the temporarily closed areas will cause the issue to be brought back into court, but those incursions aren't enough for a 24-hour emergency closure.

I have never seen anyone INTENTIONALLY drive into the closures.
How many tickets were written for driving into the closures?
How many tracks were from Law Enforcement?
How many were from people with life threatining emergencys?
How many tracks were from enviromentalists trying to use the "closure incursion tracks" as evidence to close the dunes?

These are questions that must be answered before anyone can use the "tracks" as evidence to close the dunes!

What's the condition of the signs around the closed area? I haven't been out yet this year, but heard that the signs are buried, missing, etc. [Confused]

In some of the areas I noticed there were no signs and in others it was clearly marked...but it is very hard to distinguish between the two because some are missing or even buried. [Angry Fire]

Whole sections of the signs are down. My crew and I wandered into the closure the first weekend of Oct. without even knowing it. I even knew the closure was on my left but it took a dog leg to the right and my path went right into it without even knowing. I stayed in it for maybe 25 feet before I realized.
