I know I'm new to the site (and relatively new to riding, I've only had my own bike for a year, but I've been camping and playing in the dez for years), but this seems like a good spot to ask for help. I'm writing an article for a North San Diego County magazine (called NORTH) about off-roading in our deserts. The article will focus on having a good time and respecting the environment. I'm not an environmental "whack job," but I need some quotes for the article from North County residents who ride. I see a lot of them in this forum, but I can't steal them w/o knowing who you are and where you live. I'm not looking for a "Save the desert tortoise and PMV" campaign, just something along the lines of, "I clean up my fire pit and don't ride in restricted areas," kind of stuff. So, if you live in North San Diego County (O'side, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido) and want to voice your opinion, please let me know.
